Ignore that.
That’s the LAST concern on earth that you should have with mixing at this point in your journey.
This was simply an anecdotal, half whited reference regarding steep times.I thought it would be funny to enhance exactly how new I am to this.I apologize if it offended you.
I consider these contaminated by my environment once opened. It’s a personal preference to avoid others using them once the seal has been cracked. Someone could be allergic to cats…etc. I would prefer to dispose of them. Thanks though. If I find any I haven’t opened, I’ll be happy to let someone have them. I believe I have some LNW blueberry 10ml bottles unopened.
I’ll check to see what I have that’s still sealed.
sorry some of these are typos. I attempt to explain my thoughts but I go in the wrong direction sometimes. I’ll spend a lot more time studying the ELR program. Once I feel confident with it, I’ll see if there are any other questions I might have.
The ELR program will probably clear up a lot of questions I’ve had in this thread.
Thank you!
I hope I don’t get stuck anymore. Thanks again.
yes. I am slowing down and trying to stop overthinking mixing. A lot of stuff beyond that (super detailed notes etc).
My point with my recipe picture example above was simply in hopes of providing a different perspective of saying the same thing the others have said (but thought it might be easier for you to “reverse engineer” a way for you to make sense of (or rather: interact with) the calculator.
If you blow up the image and look closely, you’ll see that the flavor numbers (in grams) match what you’ve been using (writing down). Almost verbatim (but I’m not going to stress out about going to three decimal places).
Even the total gram weight is a match for your referenced calculations.
No one is saying that you can’t, or shouldn’t do math(s), they’re simply trying to say that the calculator does them automatically for you. (Besides which, I don’t think anyone is doubting your ability or intelligence, or even your interest in doing so! Simply that you don’t have to!)
And depending on your preference, it’s most likely been accommodated for already, depending on how you set your preferences.
If you want to mix by manufacturer’s specific gravity (most flavors have this data entered already), there’s a checkbox for it (which yes, you need to save ;)!)
If you want to not worry about such things, then you can check the 1g = 1ml and go on about your merry way. chuckles
Again though, my hope was that you would notice the percentage in relation to your grams, so you could dial in your hand-written notes, or be able to import from your spreadsheet(s)… Then you would have a common format with which to engage others here to continue your further explorations.
@Englishguy @authormichellehughes I have 1 blueberry This is 10ml and who it’s made by:
I marked it with a dot to make sure it’s unopened. Anyone who want’s let me know.
Hey Doug I’m unsure never seen that on sale in the uk bud where are you from
It came from Canada but I live in the US. I might have gotten it from Liquidnicotinewholesalers. This site has a link to the Canadian store.
Well, it’s never been opened.
It’s free to anyone who want’s to pay the 5$ USPS shipping Let me know because if no one wants it’s going into the trash. The 2 other bottles that were opened have been trashed.
I was told someone would want this. Let me know.
If you want it I’ll pay to send it you for all the help you’ve given me? I probably have one to send @anon70102222 too.
Just let me know.
I’d love it Doug as i love blueberry but i live in the UK and its too far the postage would be silly but thank you for the offer tho
I appreciate it @Caped_Conspirathist, but I am flush with an overflowing hoard at this point. Thank you.
@SessionDrummer, I should have offered it to you first for all your help. I’ll offer it to @anon70102222. You guys were so great!!! tysm!!!
I have too many already but thanks.
I’ll add another vote for FW cinnamon roll, and two extra votes for butterscotch ripple lol, I also really like butterscotch (natural), mix the two together and your on your way to my favorite butterscotch recipe lol.
I don’t have a ton of flavor west offerings, somewhere around 10 total, but I have liked every one I currently own, but I don’t use some of them due to having sugar in them, like boom, it tastes just like a bomb pop and needs minimal additions to it, but unlike yellow cake it’s just not good enough to overlook the sugar, but that yellow cake though…
Good call @Fishaddict420. Everyone’s got an opinion on the different flavor companies, and I think Flavor West has a rep of having some good ones, but being very inexpensive. Not sure if price really means much or not.
My favourite companies are flavour art and flavour west but i do use lots of different companies
