I’m beginning to like Flavorah. It’s just really hard to use. I’m having better luck with it than the standard flavors though.

With Flavorah, I’m able to adjust it and the flavor back to a proper balance quick. I tend to make twice as much lmao but the profile of it’s still what I’m looking for. I’m not trying to sell it. I know however that I’m able to make my own mixes though. The flavors really are consistent!!!
I’m glad I was exposed to it. I’ve been turning to it a lot because I can judge the steep time and set the flavor for the right taste in a few days.

Yes please lol. I’m working with it better than the standards but am still getting my drops confused. I’m just counting drops till it tastes a little dull then storing it to see what the final out come is.

Yep… 3 hours to draw it… This is the state of crash and burn lmao!!! If anyone wants to know I guess according to this graph I always seem to the right side lmao.
I stop when the flavor is around 40… but a few hours later it tastes around 75 ish…and I do it 1 drop at a time… lmao
seriously, I have made it to the point I can just taste it, in a matter of hours it goes from that to something that tastes great… then 6 hours later It’s a chemical hazard… I’ve had “shake and vapes” do better than this.
Update
changed out the coils in the unit just in case. seems somehow that might have been muting flavors? It’s a first but I called a mix "the banana flambe’ " is quite tasty (and strong too. the SB french vanilla is powerful!). I’ll have to check the others later. The cotton looked clean inside and out but that doesn’t mean anything.
I’ll keep updating I guess. I’ve found that a few of Flavorah and SB flavors aren’t listed in the flavor list. My note taking also sucks. I keep getting distracted.

I am really lost on you saying
You need to try 1-2 drops in 10ml or even 30ml in your case… let it sit overnight before tasting. This will give you an idea of the flavor you are working with.
1-2 drops = .02g to .04g or .07%

I have an idea Doug, but it requires you to suspend all the note taking, graph drawing, and analysis. I’d really like you to do this, too…
I still don’t understand the whole process you immerse yourself in while mixing, so I want you to try something completely different, at least this particular time. I want @anon84779643 to build you a recipe since she knows what you have. And I want you to make it exactly as she says, and let it sit exactly as long as she says, regardless of your thoughts or temptations. I don’t want you to take notes, I don’t want you to try it every seven minutes and adjust the flavoring… I don’t want you to do anything at all except exactly what she says.
Can you do that?

If you need more shots or juice while you learn too, let me know. I have to run to the mail tomorrow for clients anyway, I do not mind. Either post your list of flavors up here, or in messages, and I will hook you up with at least 3 recipes. You have had my juice before and I do not mind going even further and sending you recipes etc… My goal is to turn you into mixing what you love and having it on repeat.

And my goal with this experiment is to know that for at least one mix, he has done it exactly as you say, so we know he’s made one batch they way we think he is. I’m not trying to be mean at all; I simply don’t understand how he is mixing. It sounds like he is making a lot of mistakes- rapid adjustments, testing far too early and often, adjusting based on bad data, etc. I guess I just want to see what happens when he follows a routine we all know 100% this time.

I know he has parkinson’s, @anon70102222 and I caught him already over-droping his flavors. I feel if he can not control the amounts of flavor, he may want to stick to syringes. I do think it might be for the best, so he can know accurately, just how much he is using.
His other option is to stick to shots, as I do not want to see him wasting his funds and time on this.

If he can’t get the drops right, syringes will make it worse. Better he focus on hitting a static number on the scale. No counting, no drawing in flavors, just watch the numbers.

Sure, definitely a consideration. On that note, there is another option available to consider…
If he simply lacks the fine motor skills to DIY mix (and again, that’s no offense at all intended, it’s just life), maybe he should consider getting one shots that he can just add base and nic to?

Between his meds, the parkinsons, and the symptoms he has… I am running a few things by him and everything checks.
Body changes are a pain in the mouth for sure! Doug will be fine.

@anon84779643, I figured it out. I didn’t realize it but it honestly has to do with the mouth. It’s hard to explain but it honestly makes sense. And I understand steeping, I understand initial mix %'s (I still need to follow those but I know what to expect if it’s mixed right).
I think I might actually have it. If you have a chance @anon84779643 I’d like to run it by you. It’s wild how an almost long and drawn out reply to @anon70102222 made me realize it.

I need to avoid distractions when doing it. I need a better way of note taking. I need a better way of containing the mess. I need to make very small batches over and over and combine them to make one big batch. Streamlining is what I need to focus on now. I need a simple system. Nothing complex and something that’s set up for super easy notes.
Me and paper don’t get along lol.
There are things I want to try. Things I want to play with. 10ml stuff to see what happens.
