Yes, all of a sudden Iām getting a weird note off of some FLV bacco and I have practically every single one of them. Personally, I think they are hyped to the nth degree and can easily replace FLV with other Bacco brands or an NET for that matter. Your basic idea looks yummy against tobacco and I could think of many options if the FLV doesnāt work for me.
Iām suddenly drooling over all these butterscotch recipes. I feel like I deprived myself over all these years and I discovered something new, lol. Butterscotch sundaes used to be my thing years ago. A good quality vanilla ice cream dripping with butterscotch topping and a mountain of whipped creamā¦OMG! Friendlyās had a great butterscotch sundae, in the day.

the SA Banana Flambe!
[/quote]
Thatās on my to get list. I remember you applauding it some time ago. Is DIYVS the only place to find it now?
What did you tell AI to get that image?
Thanks for that! I didnāt know about that wrench button. Updated above post accordingly.
One thing that helped me regarding FLV tobacco, was something that SmokyBlue said forever ago. She said one should make 5 10ml testers with FLV. 1 drop, 2, 3, 5, and 10. This way you see the full range of what the flavor can do without making a million mixes like I do. It helps, I promise. I found that most of the average % used for these super strong flavorah tobaccos are way off. Flavors that some enjoy at 3%, absolutely blow my face off with anything over 1%. I guess itās all a matter of personal taste. Red Burley, as an example, can be used (and recognized) from as low as 0.2%. But it also can be pushed. I enjoy it at 1.2% solo in my MTL device, but if I would vape that same 1.2% on my Hadaly, Iād cry from the way my throat felt without the help of some cream and/or EM.
I also own all of the FLV baccos, but I donāt think theyāre overhyped. They just need to be used with caution. I absolutely canāt stand the smell and taste of cigs, but recently am loving bacco mixes. Go figure.
*mb IggyZ, I meant to reply to the thread
I just tasted both my mixes this morning and the flavor is starting to develop! The V1 actually isnāt bad, v2 is coming out good as well. Itās crazy how flavors can just change overnight. I love mixing. I could never go back to buying commercial juice.
Iām not sure, I stocked up on it and I donāt deal with DIYVS. I did reach out to SOLUBAROME.FR a while back and (using a translator) they said they do ship to US, but I never could get past their payment system, CrĆ©dit Mutuel which refused my US credit cardā¦
I am also going to mix a second version of my Monkey BS using TPA Banana Foster. Both versions also using Banana Custard VTA (Impact)ā¦
I can buy from SA and ship to the states if you like. They donāt deny my payment as Iām paying from Germany. Or Iāll be in Miami in May if you want to save a bit on shipping. Just an FYI.
Understandably. Two different worlds. I was the same way, looking for a tobacco taste in the beginning then growing to dislike tobacco flavored vapes. Then I tried a good NET and my mind was changed. So I started experimenting with the synthetics. I am mindful of FLV pct but something may have changed with my own physiology. Iāve heard that can happen. Give it enough time and my tasters might change again, who knows? A lot can change in 11 yrs.
I was contemplating giving my FLV bacco collection away but Iāll hang on to it just in case. The reason why I say overhyped is because there are other brands that are just as good. Only a matter of opinion I suppose.
Iām almost positive that G2 Primeās Drunk Monkey used that.
The long gone days of eJuice in glass dropper bottles.
Thanks for the link to the āBanana salted caramel budino with gingersnap crustā recipe. Doing a juice using (flav) cookie and (cap) gingerbread as base and then experimenting with other ingredients. Itās good to work from food recipes.
Crack-straight crack alert!
!dontpickme!
Still steeping but lol .
HA, great minds think alike Looks great!
So I cataloged all my flavors today, and found an old one which is literally BLACK in color, but I really liked the flavor at 0.5%. SSA Butterscotch, Rich Type. But when I say black, I mean darker than TPA Double Chocolate. I used 3 drops in my mix to try to boost my main BS, and it became like 3 shades darker. Itās a bit off-putting, as my other BS flavors are MUCH lighter in color. But it seems to have done some magic in my last version.
I made my Budino Base about 2 weeks ago, and have been playing with tobacco accents since. At the end of this month, I hope to post my base recipe, as well as 2-3 different tobacco addition possibilities. The favorite pairings with the base at the moment are FLV Sweet and Smokey + FLV Red Burley, TPA RY4 Double + TPA Western, and another good one is FLV Native + Mild Tobaccos. I was thinking also to try FA Soho and Latakia, but havenāt gotten a chance to mix that yet.
I hope everyone is having as much fun with this profile as I am!
Just checked my ssa butterscotch because i have a few spare 30ml bottles that i havent needed to open yet & been sat for a while, luckily they are a very light shade of brown, still clear but just that tint of brown, you had me worried there because i like SSA BS (lol) a lot too, id be gutted to have to dump 60ml of it, i still have over half of my open 30ml left i hope it doesnt go bad before i get to it, & it is actually in the recipe im using for this mix along as well.
Thanks iggy for reminding me i need to check on my spare flavours more oftenš
& to stay on topic, here is a preview of one of the versions im working on atm (i have 6/7 versions on the go atm) -
This is not my actual entry its not fully tested/finished yet, it is damn good though, i think i might need to push fa bs a little higher? But other than that its solid. I have versions with ssa milky caramel fudge & some with crem de la creme too, which are also looking good, its gonna be hard to pick just 1 to make public, lol.
LOL! Welcome to my world. Started putting together a budino, While waiting for that to steep, I began playing around with 2 other different butterscotch recipes. Solution? Puttinā up all three.
