That looks interesting, but why the FW Butter Rum and FA Caramel? I imagine they would take away from the Cranberry and Lime flavors that seem to be the basis of the recipe.

This is something I worked on many years ago. It was a far reaching whisky project that was good but I never really felt like it was good enough. Modeled after the famous Japanese Yamazaki 18 year single malt Whisky. It’s a full-bodied whisky flavor with creamy English toffee and cherry undertones. The main base of the whisky has aromatic notes of toffee to give it a smooth pleasant finish. Originally aged in Japanese oak for a unique taste.

Well, I learned a lesson right now. I was looking for the flavors for my recipe and could not for the life of me find one flavor that I always have stocked. I have a habit of gathering flavors for future mixes and putting them aside in a box for future convenience. That don’t work, lol! The flavor was in one of those boxes that I overlooked. Me and my hair brained ideas

There is a hardwood flooring company that did a whiskey barrel companies name is Kentwood and the Yamakazi is supposed to be where they get the barrwls to creat this flooring. When yiu opened a box you can still smell.whiskey

Awhile back I took an interest in cocktail mixing and started talking to and following mando and MECH MOD RN. I created some 36 recipes back then but have moved to other things since. If I knew you then, I would have dedicated my “Duck Fart” cocktail to you

That’s interesting I don’t know if I’d want my floors to smell of Whiskey Barrels. I know a few people who buy the old whiskey barrels for their meat smokers.

did a couple more last night for fun, all out of booze and ideas now lol, I only have 3 bourbon flavors. Haven’t tried them yet. They both smell good. Sunset might be funky, will see.
