First time I heard that I thought the guy was having a laugh. 20 times! Good grief, Joyetech!!
And that too. Ha.
Does anyone know what the min-max ohm range is on the vtc mini for stainless steel?
Cheers
Cheers meant too say in TC mode
VT (variable temperature) is TC (temperature control)
Oh gawd another senior momentā¦
I was mixing up Rtaās and Rdaās the other week
Could be worst, I constantly say website when referring to a campsite. Senior moment, true thatā¦
Anyone know what it means when it drops back into Power mode after a couple puffs in TC mode? Iām currently using 2.0 firmware, Crown RBA with a parallel 26ga SS 316L build at 0.18ohms. It was reading as 0.21ohms before I opened it up and checked/tightened all my connections, so I suspect it was dropping out of TC due to a loose connection, but Iām having difficulty finding info on this issue because all the search terms I can think of only bring up other issues people have had with this mod. So if anyone has experience with this issue or is better at using search than me, please give me a shout! Thanks!
Most likely, yes. You must have a steady resistance reading or it is very likely to drop out of TC modeā¦
I donāt have a Mini, but parallel or any multiple wire build will go haywire in some TC devices. TC like for it to be simple.
Iāve previously suspected that maybe TCR was affected by how many wires etc - but it isnāt. TCR is the same regardless of how many wires, provided all the wires are the same material
Iāve read if the wires are not bonded on a molecular level TC will not work properly. There are several shorts happening with more than one left and right wire. It throws of TC. Thatās why when I decided to vape TC only I quit making Claptons. @Jondamon said it works with the IPV4s but I never got it to stay in TC.
If you can build a parallel without the wires touching it might work. When I built contact coils some of my TC mods wouldnāt stay in TC⦠My exCube 2 wouldnāt even read the contact coils
Didnāt even notice that. Agreedā¦
I think the post holes on the tank or dripper have alot to do with it⦠if they bottom out flat it tends to flatten the wires within the post making a better contact⦠I may be wrong but it seems to help???
This is a parallel contact coil. Itās been working fine since I posted. But before I opened it up and tightened all my connections I did get one death-lava-burnt-hit. I thought for sure Iād have to change the cotton out if it wasnāt already ashes.
I bet if anything gets loose or jostled (from being knocked over or whatever) then itās gonna be all wacky again.
Never heard this term but how fitting !!!
