Facebook, Good or Evil?

I wouldn’t say good or bad. I would say a total joke. If I didn’t have family across state lines, I wouldn’t have it!

My favorite of all hand gestures. I use it quite often…and with the same gusto.

Yeah, it pisses me off real bad. Other people sharing your info through allowing FB access to their address book and bingo you’re on the radar.

“We acknowledge that people might want to see the contact information that’s been uploaded about them to Facebook, but we also have a responsibility to the people choosing to upload this information. This is a balance and we’ll continue listening to people’s feedback.”

Right, so some fucker can choose to upload my info and I can do shit about it.

I’ll give them some feedback :poop: :poop: :poop:

Most of the time evil overrides the good. When people are silenced “in the name of spreading misinformation” that is pure evil to the point of denying constitution rights. Who made FB judge and jury?
What goes around comes around. FB is having it’s purchase of other companies looked in by the US Congress. My feelings? Boo whoo FB.

Good and evil only apply to humans.

@rcleven I will NOT expand on this (but I could for HOURS), but I will wholeheartedly agree.

Hehe, YES they are …

We go through our daily lives encountering x amount of people. The vast majority of them behave well enough and are basically good people. However, it only takes one asshole or “evil” person to fuck up your day or your life. It doesn’t take many “evil” people to make things quite miserable.

Not a data leak but my phone provider has been selling that information for a long time. I can’t count the texts I get under my wife’s name. They don’t make it easy to opt out either.

Yep. Privacy that many take for granted is going away. I enjoy the choices I can make with electronic media to connect with folks (like this forum/community), but also realize that electronic media can disconnect us in other important ways. It also has infringed on our privacy in ways that many don’t realize. I’m an old guy who sometimes finds those changes to be challenging to navigate.

I now use FB only to piss liberal idiots off, I’m not mean about it, the memes are so delicious, delightful and totally true. I have yet to have a Democrat to say anything of meaning or of manageable intelligence.

I just love trolling Michael Moore on FB.
The fascinating thing is many times. The passive/aggressive comments I make receive get a ton of likes. Which lends me to believe that either there are others trolling his threads. Or my satirical comments are beyond their comprehension.

I got a 30 day ban for starting a debate post about vaping, winning, then having the guys lose the debate bring up pictures of me calling me a fat and ugly virgin and I in return called them retards and got banned for hate speech.

@anon44012888 I literally just came off a 30 day FB ban today. It’s like my seventh FB now.
Remarkably you can’t post the word “Pornhub” on Facebook. Who would guessed ?
