To kick things off… In your opinion, what is the best “candy” caramel flavor?! It’s probably like 15/20% of the total mix flavor, but a unique caramel no doubt.

I wouldn’t know and i never had this Fat boy, but based on the picture i’d rather go with something like Praline Nomz (and their Nougatine too in this recipe), not too high with caramels. (but i’m biased, i really like that Praline and its usefulness)
True a sugar cookie could work. I was thinking ssa or cap shortbread with FA Vanilla cookie. Gonna be tough to get a realistic cashew flavor. Possibly use a toffee ice cream (either VT or WF to flavor both the ice cream and caramel notes. @Mikser has a good idea a praline or a praline and cream might work well for the nutty notes.
@Mikser. I like where ypur head is a brother! What kinda percentages are you thinking about woth those flavors?! They “Nutty” part is definitely candied 100%.

Silver cloud sugar cookie can easily be a stand alone. Its unlike any other sugar cookie. Its much more realistic and you get that perfect goeey note of a fresh baked soft sugar cookie. You could prob add like ssa shortbread with it and ut would be perfect for that. Then just use your favorite ice cream. I would say to add creme de la creme with it as it will make the ice cream more creamy as well as start the base for a caramel layer. Then i would prob try nomz toffee butter or tpa caramel original.
Since its ice cream and caramel bith of those can benefit from a bit of EM too which will bring out that mouth lingering vanilla and caramel
I’ve never had a FATBOY, but now I wish I did. I think you guys are on track with the cleaner, less buttery VIC’s, like SSA’s or Nomz. The cookie is harder to make out in the pic, and while love, love, loving shortbreads, I don’t know about them soley or not, due to not trying the actual thing. I wish I had tested Sterling Cloud’s Sugar Cookie, but I haven’t. I’ve always had great luck with CAP’s Sugar Cookie and some INW Biscuit, but @McDuckie may be on to something with the FA Vanilla Cookie, maybe paired in. Maybe a combo of a Shortbread, and CAP Sugar Cookie. I’ve always loved FA’s Caramel, but as stated, candied caramel does point to TPA’s Caramel Candy, maybe a pairing of it and FA’s. Cashews, wow, that’s a head scratcher for sure, but I think @Mikser has the next best thing with the Pralines.
