Fix My Mix - Bring your trouble recipes here!

@SessionDrummer, ahhh cool. Just wasn’t sure as the US seems obsessed with pumpkin things, and bacon for some reason…:rofl:

Hehe, you’re probably right, as they do push market a LOT of Pumpkin once the seasons change. I’m not even sure if most people LIKE it or not, but market it to us, they still do.

I’ve got a recipe calling for FA Milk which I don’t have right now. Is there a decent sub?

That’s a tough one @muth, as FA Milk is fairly unique IMO. A blunt sub could be TPA Dairy Milk.

If you are like me, unable to taste creams well, you could swapped with Mickey creamy undertone OOO (which I can’t taste at all)…or a flv cream. Worst case cream fresh fa. OOO would be the best bet especially if you don’t have milk flv either.

I knew someone would say that. Thx for the input.

Yes, SFT produces about zero flavor for me but I “feel” them in a mix. I happen to like Cream Fresh FA when called for in a mix and can definitely experience how it effects the vape. Thx for your input.

Anyone try Milk Fresh (VTA)? @SessionDrummer I’m surprised you didn’t mention it. I just read your notes and you rated it 10/10 saying it was a close cousin to FA.

Yes, you most definately do. One of the best creams, and there’s nothing quite like it. I’m in the UK and can get it really easily, but I can’t get Flav. Labs Strawberry Jam, or Purilum Country Apple. Maybe we could help each other out on this one? Let me know if you’re interested. Have a good Xmas anyway, and good luck.

Hi mate, I am also in the U.K. and you can get Purilum Country Apple from NomNomz, unfortunately it’s out of stock at the moment though.

Thanks. Nice to know. Have a good one.

You too mate.

Hey Steve, James and I tried to do that with VSO Strawberry and it seemed it would have cost a pretty penny for me to ship to him according to the USPS website but I’m not convinced. I’d like to ask my local USPS people about shipping abroad and customs fees, etc. If I find out something more promising I’ll get back to the both of you.

Correction: Delosi Coconut

Thanks, muth. Funnily enough, Chefs here in the UK have been out of VSO Strawberry for months. Session Drummer asked me to let him know what it is like months ago, but I’m yet to try it. No body else in the UK sells it, to the best of my knowledge. Good luck in your (our) quest. All the best for the New year.

I had to correct myself. It was the Delosi Coconut he was interested in. Lol, my memory lately? End of year and covid burn out.

Chef’s don’t sell Delosi. I’ve been after their Coconut for ages. I’ve just checked their website, and they don’t appear to be selling VSO Strawberry or Blueberry anymore either, which is concerning.

Yes, that’s what I found out from James. Did you try the VSO Coconut? It’s quite realistic and all you would need to do is add some type of cream to give it body. It’s almost like drinking straight from the coconut so a bit of a thin texture (but real and tasty). Then there’s Dessicated Coconut (VTA) which I haven’t tried yet which is dryer and might be a good pairing for VSO. @Lucas_James_Holden you might look into that. I wasn’t aware of it when we last spoke.

No, unfortunately never tried VSO coconut. Doesn’t look like I’m going to either, because Chefs are not stocking it. I like coconut too. So the best coconuts are doomed to allude me. Bugger.

I like a 2:1 ratio of FA Coconut and FLV Sweet Coconut. And I always like INW Coconut Cookie. Which reminds me I need to restock.

I have the FA and the FLV so I’ll give that a try. Probably invest in some INW Coconut cookie too. Sounds nice. Thanks muth, you’re a star.:two_hearts:
