Heh recommending against .?.that’s not how you want your 15 minutes of Fame to go down
Well, being honest I am a bit of a hunk could probably get away with it
Hi, I thought I had better clear up a few things, I have read all the posts on this topic and im the owner of Sydney Vapour, This all started when the Unicorn Milk Clone came out and one of my customers asked me to do a one click purchase to purchase all the concentrates required to make the clone, I agreed and it went a bit crazy, more and more customers wanted me to add more and more clones or recipes.
I did not get all the clones and recipes from this site, there has been about 20 to 30 sites I used and yes it looks like these sites may have copied your recipes, there is about 5 I think from here maybe a little more and when possible I have done a screen dump from those in question, but other sites have copied your clones and did not mention who the original creator was, so I would not have a clue who created them
The cost of these concentrates are the same price or cheaper than what are already sold on my site, I understand concentrates are cheaper in the US but we have to pay enormous shipping, customs duties import duties and tax and if you check other Australian Sites you will find I am one of, if not the cheapest in Australia.
We have done nothing more than provide a service to our customers, allowing them to purchase the concentrates by using 1 click rather than them having to search for each one and hope they are all in stock, I actually never thought that people who copy, duplicate or publish other peoples ejuice recipes would have an issue with someone else publishing theirs. Strange World.
The Australian market is very small compared to the US and we are simply trying to keep our business going by providing a service that our customers are asking for
As we dont know who the original publishers are of the recipes we use, whether it was you or whether you copies from someone else, we have decided to make donations to this web site owner and hope that will make a small difference, its the best we can do
these are flavoring packs?
Yes they are individual 10ml concentrates, so if you need 5 flavours you will receive 10mls of each flavour etc
ahhhh that’s pretty cool then. I was under the assumption they were one-shots or premixes which would’ve been a different story. As long as you credit the original creators I’m sure people won’t mind. Sorry if we were a bit jumpy, we don’t take kind to recipe theft.
Problem is, I dont know who they are except for the ones I already screenshot, there are multiple recipes of the same juice not just on this site but many others, I cant remember which site I got each one from. however if you claim the recipe please send me an email and I will be sure to add you to the listing for the credit, your recipes are all over the web so email me if its your pone and ill add credit cheers
They work out at just under $5.00 Australian D per concentrate
Makes more since esp when considering shipping costs going to the land downunder.
Ok, fair enough. From this side of the pond, it looks as though you’re absolutely gouging. I will apologise for both my lack of knowledge, and incorrect assumption on that aspect. Thank you for the education.
I also respect the fact that you remained restrained and understand to some degree where some of us are coming from. I for one appreciate your willingness to show support for our community financially, as well as the fact that you stepped up to address it.
I’ll refrain from commenting on other aspects for the time being, and I’ll close with this:
Thanks for taking the time and showing the folks that have helped make your “opportunity” possible some of the due respect that I feel they richly deserve.
Good to finally see some moderation in this thread. Sources for these recipes are varied and at the end of the day we are just playing with little bottles of flavour. A shame that i only make arse smell when i combine two of them.
Hey just posted a cinnamon toast crunch recipe I’ve been working on for quite a while I’m pretty pleased with it check it out on my page
Let me know what you think
My step daughter has wanted a lite cinnamon vape, I tried a couple but it wasn’t what she was looking for. I’ll mix that up but will need to sub the Cinnamon Danish you used for Cinnamon Danish Swirl V2 (CAP) and your FW Sweet Cream for either CAP or TPA Sweet Cream… I have the other ingredients your recipe calls for.
EDIT:
Something else she has been wanting me to try and make is a Apple Cider…
The illustrious HIC says if you mix Apple with FA - Liquid Amber it tastes just like apple cider. I’ve not tried it but he does seem to know a good deal.
HIC~
FA Liquid Amber (Amber):
Very useful for baked fruit and cider flavor. Think of it as a
way to slightly ferment the other flavors. One FA vendor
describes the standalone flavor well: “Warm and smooth
flavor with a hint of fresh fruit and a delicate sourness in
the aftertaste.” At 3% standalone, it gives a hint of (apple?
pear? something fruity), a bit of sweetness you taste in the
far back of your throat, and undertones of sour, like the
background warmth and sourness of slightly-hard cider.
Add 0.5-1% Liquid Amber to apple flavors for basic apple
cider. If you use mostly Liquid Amber plus a touch of Pear,
Apple, Cherry, Apricot… - the fruit flavor will come through
well. It becomes pear- (apple-…) flavored Amber.
That is similar to adding FA Brandy to fruit, but it’s a much
smoother effect. If you don’t have FA Brandy, or if Brandy
is too strong for you, Liquid Amber makes a fine
substitute. Liquid Amber can also boost mild anise and
licorice notes in tobacco blends.
Would there be any interest in seeing Creative Commons licensing integrated into this site? Then at least you could license your recipe(s) for Non-Commercial purposes and/or require attribution for derivative works. Just throwing it out there for discussion, and I don’t know how much of a chore it would be to implement the free integration toolkit.
The worst thing about this to me is, besides them taking credit for other people’s work, less people are going to be willing to share. As a fairly new mixer it has been extremely helpful to use these recipes to attempt my ideas by comparing percent of flavors, etc., and reading the notes on why the same flavors from different brands are used. I also really appreciate the delicious e juice I have enjoyed from everybody’s recipes. If I ever actually make an original worth sharing, LOL, I will.
US$1 is about AU$1.30. Makes it look more expensive than it really is.
The only thing criminal about this is their prices!
People please please please buy the flavours needed for ELR recipes from somewhere else, you will be paying 2-3 times more for these “packs”…
mate where do you reckon we should buy it from? shipping hurts our butts down here.I have wholesale accounts with FLV CAP TPA…shipping alone comes to 2-300 bucks alone
