Especially regarding this issue. Both D and R have come out as part of the Ban Ban wagon. Both parties are built on control and greed and are a clear and present danger to the people they are paid to serve.

This makes me sick …look at date and look at website, these dirty mother fuckers…Im not a conspiracy person at all . I usually hate even listening to shit about the deep state , for awhile I started to love politics and since the tea party and how obama was treated then trump it makes me throw up … This article could definetely make a person like me quickly start believing in conspiracy within our government , you know the type of conspiracy that gets one industry banned to make room for another …Sorry for rant but this article pissed me off …

And now you’re seeing.

Kind of explains why we’ve seen SO much inconsistency doesn’t it?

When the two giants were about to merge only a few months ago… To the fact that t hey decided to have their own little “Power Play” amongst each other (Juul vs IQOS) when the tide started to turn against Juul… To both sides simultaneously battling against vaping to ensure that whoever wins (between them) that their market share is boosted (by the loss of vapers, now scared by the lies and rhetoric)… To the media (whether fueled by funds, or ineptitude) who takes a position due to “the company line” or advertising dollars, or…

Yeah. It’s all there to be seen. If you look closely and pay attention.

Meanwhile, we’ve had the answer (vaping) all along…

And, of course, heat-not-burn tobacco devices will not nearly have the effectiveness of vaping as a long term smoking cessation instrument. I say that because those don’t only mimic the act of smoking, but also the taste. And, certainly, with very little variation of flavor choices, especially compared to vaping. So, it’s my opinion that many smokers who try to quit burning tobacco with that device will ultimately decide that the effort needed to maintain such a device will not be worth it, and return to analogs- but not walk away from tobacco in general.

It’s also my opinion that Altria is well aware of this, so they have yet another card in their pocket to hedge against losing their smoking base.

I tried one of these heat-not-burn devices at a vape show maybe a year or 2 ago. Interesting and they contacted me about a month later to do a review but I declined. I had no interest in going out and buying a pack of cigs. It works but is not convenient like vaping in the long run. It is just a hail mary by BT and if vaping didn’t exist, I would just use a zippo instead of a H-N-B device.

I see these H-N-B devices as a big fail which BT won’t care, just as long as people keep buying cancer sticks. @fidalgo_vapes sniffed it out, smells like a burnt cig is behind all this BS

The hypocrisy makes me sick. We know that analogs are packed with a plethora of shit that is guaranteed to reduce health. Heating not burning is acceptable in that device but not vaping? Ya, BT can stuff that thing right up their ass and suck on it. Another to big to fail like Government Motors. Too lucrative to the government to fail.

Everything about this makes me sick.

Hypocrisy. Vaping will kill you, but smoking is A-OK!! And if you don’t want to smoke, at least use our HNB device. Here’s a couple coupons for whichever you decide. Buy a carton and get a Coughy the Bedridden Elephant plush for free. With your choice of oxygen tank colors.

Opportunism. They know full well what is causing the ‘vape related’ illnesses. Has nothing to do with the smoking cessation/hobby aspect of the platform. But they’ll use it to keep those leaves burning (or hey, heated).

Politics. R or D, Red or Blue, whatever your stripe may be. All of this is happening because lobby pressure and revenue is driving them.

Attitude toward the general public. You clowns are too stupid to see the shell game, fools.

Blatant circumventing of the legal system. Posts here have shown how the legal system is being manipulated and even used improperly.

Disregard for public health and well-being. Vaping is an obviously effective smoking cessation tool, period.

And many other things, like harming small business, etc. Just rancid.

The Efficient and Effective Management of Political Hypocrisy Depends Upon Public Consent

It is interesting how (in the cases of so-called “Big Cannabis” as well as “Big Tobacco”) the general trend is for large corporations to attempt to concentrate power (and, as a result, monetary profits) by - instead of meaningfully opposing - playing along with government regulation efforts, where the “quid pro quo” is that government will actively act (with or without coherent “rhyme or reason”) to impede and/or decimate smaller sized businesses and amateur (“DIY”) players, in return for allowed sales of such corporations’ pet products funding governments (through sin-taxes, and/or litigation “extortion” settlements with State and Local level governments). Rather than act with a true mission (ie, harm-reduction) protecting Public Health, the result is (predictably) instead a mission to enhance “Public Wealth” (of State/Local government operating funds, that is). In such machinations, inquisitions made to appear as genuine concerns surrounding health and safety, and public “scapegoating” (of molecules, and competent adults who desire to utilize such molecules) rituals are key to “manufacturing consent” (see “Sourcing Mass Media News” under “Five Filters of Editorial Bias”)

(October 3, 2019): “Vaping health scare takes toll on cannabis vape firms’ stock prices, but many see longer term opportunity beyond crisis”:

State-legal cannabis vape products and the companies selling or distributing them may not be the principal cause of the recent outbreak of respiratory illnesses in the United States, but those firms are feeling the effects nonetheless. … the crisis continues to cast a large pall over the licensed marijuana industry, affecting vape sales and dragging down the share prices of publicly traded vaporizer companies. … MJ vape companies have … taken proactive measures to bolster their customers’ confidence in licensed products. Yet their stock prices also have suffered. … Private companies that aren’t publicly traded also are taking steps to reassure consumers. … Legal vape companies are ultimately hoping for a flight to premium products as a result of the vaping crisis. … Even as states and cities move to ban vaping products, however, consumers are likely to return once things settle down …
