Flavor BAN!

Yeah Angel Dust was one of the biggies that I thought of (but the thought escaped equally as quickly while I was typing sadly).

Opiated hashish was my favorite. Got the most wonderful black hash with pencil lead lines of opium running through it in Germany. That and Pink Floyd on the real to real was AMAZING!!! Maybe a little Kraftwerk for desert. Yum!!!

Ah, right. Phencyclidine. Tried once. Really awful and weird sense of disassociation. For a number of years, researchers in Opioids, Endorphins, etc, considered the Sigma-1 Receptor to be one of the sub-types of Opioid Receptors, thought to be associated with occasional visions associated with administration of Opium and derivatives. Not the case, however. (Probably) more likely an effect related to Kappa Opioid Receptor agonist receptor interactions. There exist some very good (enjoyable, non-toxic) drugs, as well as a good number of very marginal “bad” substances. Once again, limit consumers’ choices, and they will be most likely to make poor choices and expose themselves to damage, harm, and toxicity. Knowledge is important.

In days gone by, they used Etorphine to drop Elephants. These days, it’s Carfentanil (also on the streets).

Pakistan/Kashmir/Afghan sourced black hash with crystallized “sprinkles”. Nepalese Fingers, Temple Balls.

Remember “Careful With That Axe, Eugene” (on the double-disc live “Ummagumma” album) ?

Pink Floyd performed the song frequently in concert from 1968 to 1973 in progressively slower and alternative formats.

On a warm central Florida night in the early 1970s (they traveled with a truly amazing live sound system for those times), peaking on ~500 ug of Orange Sunshine, when they broke into the screaming bit a ways in, I friggin’ flipped-out completely from the overall intensity, got really paranoid all of a sudden about my hash pipe, slung it up high into the air in the concert hall, and bolted out of the venue, trippin’ my damn brains out. Those were the days of bold teenage adventures ! My youth was not an unexciting or uneventful time. :stuck_out_tongue:

As in Nicotine realms, attorneys who contemplate defending Cannabis product businesses think the same:

Does the Cloud of Vaping-Related Injuries Portend a Storm of Litigation? - Cannabis Industry News Alert

The crossroad of vaping and THC-containing products makes this case particularly appealing for critics and troublesome for manufacturers. Quite simply, because vaping and state-legal marijuana use are relatively recent developments, the medical community does not have sufficient reliable data regarding the long-term effects of vaping and THC ingestion on the body. …

… Unfortunately, this lag in supporting science has seldom, if ever, stopped the pursuit of mass tort litigation, which can be very effective on public opinion alone if not properly managed by experienced defense litigators. …

… We anticipate an increase in cases involving a variety of products liability claims against manufacturers throughout the supply chain. Plaintiffs will allege that manufacturers at multiple tiers failed to adequately warn consumers about the risks associated with the use of e-cigarettes, vaping liquids, and other after-market or homemade products. It is also likely that plaintiffs will assert claims alleging that defendants’ manufacturing processes are flawed, or that their products are designed in a way that caused the plaintiffs’ injuries. Moreover, as would be expected in all mass tort litigation, credentialed experts will not be in short supply to opine on various manufacturing and design defects related to either the e-cigarette devices or the liquid formulations that are turned into an inhalable substance.

While couched as traditional product liability causes of action, potential cases likely to arise from these illnesses are unique because of the intersection of the relatively modern e-cigarette technology and the use of THC-containing products. To minimize the significant exposure presented by these cases, manufacturers of e-cigarettes, THC oils, and other vaping products should act soon to evaluate potential exposure to claims from vaping-related illnesses.

Whoa, hey ! Here is a quite rare case of minds at a major (notably, private and thus perhaps a bit less indentured to the “Therapeutic State”) university (Duke) engaged in thoughtful and meaningful dialogue:

I wish I could rejoice but I don’t trust these people. First thought that goes through my head is "what are they up to now?’. They have solidly become the enemy in my head. I’m watching my flank. Waiting for them to try to thrust a knife in my back.

And they will one way or another… “Closed systems” will be their next step and the knife got stubbed!!
Probably Altria promised something, I mean, they do own Juul don’t they… and their new CEO really is a shark… (he’s a PM USA man, not was… don’t believe that, but… is!):joy::sweat_smile:

Not rejoicing, but I consider it a step forward, now we can say: As the FDA stated….

Dot put to much stock in this article it is riddled with inaccuracy.
I would suggest watching this if you have the book of face

From what I gather she is fairly confused and mixing up “vape shops” with marijuana dispensaries. I think it is fairly clear that the intention is to ban flavored nicotine delivery systems regardless of the nomenclature; I hope I am mistaken.

Yes absolutely she is totally unaware of the facts of the matter she is talking about.

You just don’t even have to TRY and spin, what is right in front of your face. Wow. Color me impressed.
