Fidalgo you might want to check the website and you would get a better understanding what ‘concentrate’ means at Sobucky.
‘Naming of flavors is set’ - yes, it is set to write the whole names as they are (while you added just some random ordinary SSA, which ofc are clearly not concentrates, so those prove nothing regarding how naming is set).
Concentrates are different line of flavors, they have different use (because all these SSA flavors are ofc not primarily meant for vaping but they are producing these for other purposes, right?) and they are taken at different quantities than regulars and i can imagine some users will be searching specifically for concentrates).
No, of course not. Who said they are?
These are way more different to regular flavors than WF regulars and Naturals are and they mix differently (not to mention they have different names, with just Concentrate added to show what this is about; note that this is not just some dummy random word there such as ‘Type’). Check how Sobucky lists them and how they list other flavors…
I agree, but who said that?
This is their different line and you would see that if you open their website. Currently they launched only 23 concentrates (and yes, all these have different names than regulars, these are not doubles or same flavors). Concentrates - page 2
See how they have these flavors divided from others, just like they have divided MB flavors at the bottom.
ahhh ok they are new , That makes sense so theres gonna be double named things? Panna Cotta SSA and now Panna Cotta (concentrate) or am i looking at wrong page. Really when it comes down to it people are going to add flavors on ELR how they see fit since it open unlike ATF so who cares. Moving this thread to a naming convention thread
Nope. There is Panna Cotta MB (SSA), not Panna Cotta SSA. Molinberry flavors have sometimes same names (until they keep them), but they are NOT same flavors as Concentrates. As you might expect, concentrates are way more concentrated than those MB were (and i would also assume they are different flavors). Another reason to name them properly.
So i guess that is a newer line of flavors which will be called Concentrate opposed to their regular flavors. If that is the case it makes sense to add the concengrate name. Hopefully when they come to resellers we see the name added as well or we will have multiple namea for same flavors (as if we dont already)
Ya we have asked to have the database to be closed like ATF and until then there will always be some confusion since resellers dont always name things exactly like manufacturer. We have tried to keep up with whats going on
Yes, there are 11 naturals so far on their website. Natural
They say 100% natural, i can’t say what this means.
BUT… watch out… they added Natural to some flavors now (that were not naturals before such as Bakery Orange or Cola; can’t say if those were changed). I have 5 of these and four of those are very good flavors; Bakery Orange, Mint, Cola, Lemon, while SB is not.
I agree, but we can’t do nothing about that. Maybe BC will use one name and NN will use other name, so which one to add then? Or someone else would. (and the point there was ‘maybe’; we don’t know what they will use; it’s in their interest to use proper names anyway).
So same is in database - it’s best to add the proper name that company had released and is proud of, not some our imaginary names because that will just confuse users/buyers and especially that is needed when those are different flavors but sometimes named the same which can make databases and recipes totally useless (or as it happened with merging different flavors). One example is Panna Cotta MB (SSA) and now if we add Panna Cotta (SSA) it would be confusing for many and even experienced vapers would add the wrong one occasionally; it’s better to use proper name Panna Cotta (Concentrate) (SSA) and there would be less mistakes (and people would at least know those are two very different flavors).
It makes sense to use proper name also because ATF had used it that way (not that we need to copy them, but it makes sense to use same flavor names probably and recipes are therefore same on each platform; who’d want those to be different, right?). Thankfully vendors are using proper names more frequently lately since they realized it’s in their interest to do that.
Mine too! Spectacular flavor. i add it everywhere where i use orange (not always as prime, but unless some powdery orange cream, i almost always add it at least 0.25% on top of other oranges).
Now that looks tasty! I don’t have that MF and Italian, but i’ll have to give it a try with some substitutes for sure! It won’t be the same, but i bet it will still be delicious. I need to taste that BS-Bakery Orange combo now!
