Mmmmm, just tried this one out finally, and it is very similar to WF SC Flapper Pie, albeit much more multi-dimensional. I’m still trying to figure out of it’s the Lemonade that gives it that lil’ extra something or not. Either way, with 10 flavors all pulling together, it IS a keeper. 5/5 @anon84779643.
That one will be on my website as a shot… it was voted on in one of my fb groups
My great grandmother used to make her Pistachio Pudding Cake and I used to help her. She made it more so like a poke cake, with holes all into the cake, to pour the pudding and whipped cream on top and stash it in her cooler. She used to host the most fabulous parties and the stories she would tell over eating the PPC… I miss her dearly so I put together her cake recipe to share here with others. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
This is a light airy cake with pistachio pudding and whipped cream on top. Steep time is 7 days… but really you need to give it 14 for the flavors to all come together.
Oh yes, oh yes (sorry, you’re narrowing in on my profile).
If you get the time could you please list your flavor notes on Flavorah in a separate topic post we can go back to? I’ll add them to the flavor notes on the calculator because all I see are super high usage of those flavors there. Not naming names but in another forum I saw people using eggnog at 8% and saying it didn’t have any flavor other than cream which I actually know is inaccurate because at 1% I got a lot of nutmeg along with the eggy cream
I was going to borrow them from your website but it was down LOL people need a REAL reference on how to use these flavor concentrates.
@authormichellehughes… my website is down, I am adding things to my shop. Not all of my notes are online. I have a big box I’ve notebooks with all of my notes. I have been trying for the last few years to get them all up online. the website should be open again either late tonight or sometime tomorrow.
I have a few friends that can not seem to use the marshmallow treats flavor without tasting crunch berry. So here might be some help. Let this sit for 1 week and see what you think.
I appreciate this @anon84779643. I tried the MM Treats, but it just didn’t work for me, didn’t toss it, but stopped using it. Not sure if I got Crunch Berry or not. I (thanks to the recent hoard order) can mix this one up. Adapting now.
Let me know if this one works for you, @SessionDrummer…
I have a few on fb trying it too, as they have the same issue.
Kind of funny how taste buds work, eh?
Well I will def. do that. I had like maybe 5 FLV flavors for the longest time, and MMT was one of them. Solo’d it, wasn’t quite sure if it was for me, tried mixing with it, and grew even less hopeful, but still kept it. Not everything for everyone right ? Taste buds, yeah, interesting to say the least. I would bring some of my better juices into some shops, and they were well received, then in turn, they would send me home with some of their “good ones”. Most were, ummmm, NOT for my taste buds lol. Deeper into DIY I went. Sadly I have far less time now than in the past, or I would have setup an entire batch of SF tests for my new FLV’s just to get started, but haven’t even had the time yet. Like any new flavors, have to understand them, before mixing with them, or it becomes a blind guessing game for pairings.
OK, HERE’S one for you @anon84779643, I know very well how to make up a good Looper, BUT, with TPA, and CAP. What I DON’T know, is how to do it with FLV. No clue on how to get a good grainy cereal cooking. Cereal Crunch, right ? Dry it up a bit, tone it down with some Cookie ? LOL. That def. leans heavy towards Capt. Crunch, which is not the grain I was looking for, in a Looper. Now, seeing as though YOU are the FLV Goddess, what say you ??? !!!
And, please, only if YOU have the time, I know you’re in the same “What the Hell is FREE time” camp.
Did you try FLV Tricks and lemon, lime… milk… blood orange… blueberry… ???
