@marsh8 I actually hope you DO, and WHEN you do, hehe, you MUST post up. I would hate to see if I was “blind” to a particular flavor or compound, and that would or COULD discourage anyone else’s use(s) of it.
BUT, as always, if I taste it (or don’t) you guys will know about it. Thanks mate, and let me know what YOU get.
Hehe, haters gonna hate @Gazza7, I’m actually curious TO hear what you think.
Well you are RIGHT about that. I have invested years, and years into this, and have, and will continue to give back TO the community, as I always have. It DOES take an awful amount of time, and effort to continue doing this. I have dealt with countless idiots over the years, and most, if not all, haven’t given ANYTHING to the community, built nothing, haven’t helped in any regard, and sadly WILL be forgotten, as they have nothing to show for their “efforts”. It’s sad, but true. Haters gonna hate though, hehe.
Those of us who ARE in the know, do know that tastes vary wildly between us all, likes, dislikes, palates, equipment, and the list goes on and on. No one expects to have identical results, or at least those of us who are realistic don’t. Sharing reviews, or thoughts, are just that, nothing more, nothing less, and I’m actually glad you roll with a “pinch of salt” as I would do no less.
As far as THAT ^^^^ goes, you can either hit me up, or once @Jetz gets his Vendor Page running, you can def. get good information there. What kind of issues did you run into ?
@Nuromanzer that is EXACTLY what I experienced. I know @Ianc13 is a MTL God, and has had VERY good luck, and I hope to get to that point at some point.
I just found the concentrates/one shot thing confusing but by the time I was informed of my mistakes it was too late as I’d already mixed them.
In my defense I did what I normally do and took my starting percentage from the website. I also compared them to your reviews and upped them a bit as I’ve already stated I think I enjoy flavours stronger than you. There wasn’t much else to go on as I couldn’t find much else on the interwebby thingymybob.
I could very well have stuffed them up and that’s 100% on me so as I taste I will ensure to make a point of writing that down as I can only put words against what I taste at the time.
That note has the distinct possibility of becoming very repetitive!
I will admit, when I first went to their site, it did seem a little confusing. Flavors, flavor shots, one shots, etc.
That may indeed be the case. Now, to be fair, I don’t know if you’ve been burned by overflavoring or not. I have gotten VERY good at over flavoring, and have been burned in the past, so, I try to start low, and work my way up to prevent that, as opposed to just starting high/heavy and see what happens, if that makes sense.
Obviously we’re on different equipment, but in the past, specifically when reviewing I’ve found that if I go too high, sometimes I can loose some of the notes, I might get at lower rates. This is a generalized statement, and cannot be applied to every flavor.
I see there’s 2 available on the site did you get?
'Watermelon OZ Flavour – or known as Watermelon Natural Flavour. Sweet, juicy Aussie watermelon notes. ’
I know when I was looking at the oranges the Juicy Orange I recognised the Navel Orange that was written about in the description. Is that a common variety in your parts?
What I’ve enjoyed with these flavours is familiarity, call it nostalgia. The One Shots I’ve tried have been accurate for my tastes. I haven’t really been vaping anything else for more than 2 weeks now.
Cool - once everyone making liquids moved to DTL I found most custards no longer did it for me in MTL. Like I said I am mostly tobacco and strong flavours in mtl. Back in the starting point of vaping for me it was Heisenberg and scorpions blood that got me off the ciggies.
Thanks for sharing - I was interested in the profile you normally go for. I did not look at your recipes or that would have told me …I can see you have a Kreeds remix - his custard is one I do rate highly for MTL and kinda forgot about it
, I might try your take on it. His tobacco is/was good too more of a nutty ry4 but good.
I mixed up the weis bar subbing out cream for whipped cream today. The mango smelt just like a good Aussie mango green and ripe at same time, the creaming soda is just like the one I drank as a kid….I think you hit the nail on the head with nostalgia
I swear I could taste Bowen Mango in the Mango Jam. I’m only missing the cream in the Weis Bar, I’ll go through what I have an sub something in…
I agree with the creaming soda too, old school, just to make a spider. I have so many testers around…
Have you tried the Redskin in a MTL?
I only use the Caliburn which I spose is MTL, I only put candies in it have for a long time only put custards or creams once or twice, just didn’t seem to translate. The Redskin One Shot dominates in it.
No - so far just in a nitrious rda single coil and then into a new pod system I am trying but currently using DTL coil and pod, it does have mtl pod which is why I bought it so will give it a go when I swap. I also mixed up the R&R ice cream, it smells authentic see how it steeps.
@SessionDrummer did you get the RY4 Paris to test? I will make a tester of that if not and give my basic impression. - it has been a while since I have had an ry4 so may not be the most accurate test but will give some indication for anyone interested. Reminds me, I do need to find my mtl rda’s.
