Found a new DIY Shop in Australia, and wanted to let you guys know

Good stuff. I see I’m not the only one buying 500 ml of flavors

Very tempted to jump on the $50 mystery box.

I was trying to hold off buying concentrates etc for a while but this seems too good to ignore. I am a little skeptical about mystery buys as at the back of my mind I’m thinking it’s probably just the unwanted crap that nobody wants rolled up into a tempting package.
However if I plug my aging brain in for a while and do the maths I’m thinking that I only have to get a 25% ‘hit’ rate to break even.

A 10ml of concentrate averages say $5 so $50 worth would be ten bottles. Therefore if I receive a minimum of $200 worth I’m receiving four times that amount or a minimum of forty. Now obviously I don’t know if they’re all be 10ml and in fact probably won’t be so I’d probably have to lessen my perceived chances. What I don’t want is a 100ml bottle of Aunt Mauds perfume or her corgis vomit but that’s the chance I’m taking. I’m tempted to contact them and ask some questions but that’s probably extracting the urine a bit and I’d imagine there’s a heap of boxes just taped up and ready to go. From memory they used to sell one shots too. Big Mouth or something like that? And probably others but no matter how long my aging brain is on charge it’s not going to be that good to remember all that they used to carry and obviously it all depends on what hasn’t sold yet.
I’m also thinking that Tom was always so good to deal with that he wouldn’t want to just unload complete rubbish and should have some useable products in said boxes.

Decisions decisions.

GO for it!!

Yeah, I looked at the mystery box too mate. As I really don’t mix outside my normal “Taste” range I decided against it. With the three I have I could pretty much not buy anything else for years… and 500 ml for only around double the price of 118ml, am totally winning!

@Gazza7 picking up 500ml bottles of flavors you USE on sale, is one thing, BUT, rolling the dice on a mystery box, even if it’s on sale could turn into wasted money, if none of the flavors are in your must have list.

S.D. is right, ignore me, the she-devil temptation on your shoulder.

I’ve known some she-devils in my time but never had one on my shoulder.
I had one jump on my back once claws out but that’s another story.

I wish I had a Gazza7-Angel on my shoulder before I spent countless dollars on unused products.

That’s another consideration actually.
I’ve often scoured Juice Factory’s website and never really came up with any must haves since I had previously bought from them. I had a few in my wishlist but I wouldn’t really consider any must haves.
I used to add some from the wishlist when I bought PG/ VG.

And…just like that…you flicked the she-devil off your shoulder and decided to conserve your money instead of squandering it…

Not yet I’m afraid.
She’s lingering to the point where I’ve logged in but closed the site at the last minute.
However I’m still logged in and fighting the return.

Then let me switch to the she-angel side… :innocent: I have ‘Flavors in stash: 2482’ and I will never be able to use it all before they turn bad, especially since I’ve narrowed down my profile and could have saved avoided countless holes in my wall and money if I wasn’t so obsessed about acquiring every single flavor to try out all the recipes I thought I would use them for. This is just ONE wall in a 4 wall den. I still have another room for storing my duplicate flavors. Don’t pull a KC111! Ok, now I’ve said my piece…you are a grown adult and can make your own decisions, LOL.

See those boxes on the chair, that is more flavors I still need to transfer to my wall.
This is my duplicates drawer in a different room.

That’s an impressive haul although I suspect you wish you’d practiced a little more restraint!
I take your point and it is indeed an extremely relevant and common sense one.

However I’m an impetuous child when it comes to concentrates which is a little strange as in real life I tend to contemplate a lot more. To be honest I’m somewhat glad I have to face the wrath of my significant other when I buy vape related gear (especially concentrates) as she does make me practice more consideration as time has progressed.

YES!

That is the beauty of being an adult, eh? You have to abide by the consequences of your choices.
Let us know whether you pulled the trigger and decided to buy a mystery box or not. If you do, please share with us what you ended up getting.

I can reply now and proudly proclaim that I managed to take your advice and walk away… sort off anyway.
After feeling I’d tamed the urge I made the terrible mistake of wandering and checked out Vapoureyes.

I had some loyalty points and saw some bargains and as they say the rest is history.
At least I’ll definitely get use out of this little lot. That’s my story anyway and I’m sticking to it.

Interested in trying the Flavorah Heat as I believe someone told me that it can improve throat hit. Sorry that I can’t remember whom if you read this!
I don’t normally buy premixed juice but I read good things about Old Smokey ages ago and qualified it as not really costing me anything.
And $10 for the little Oxva with an available RBA coil just struck me as worth a go.

I’m convincing myself now aren’t I?

LOL, THAT is an excuse that addicts like me are always telling ourselves.

It is that darn obsessive compulsive disorder trait that makes it so hard for me to just stop buying things I don’t need! I have FLV Heat, too and it is just sitting there unopened. IF I could start over, I would just buy my top 10 favorite fruity concentrates for my beloved fruity profiles ONLY and a few of my favorite tanks and mods and BE DONE!

Yes, that was me Gazza, it’s still working for me - at least with no nic anyway.

I’m tempted by that mystery box too but… I think I’ll give it a miss.

You did the right thing better off buying something you will use rather than maybe will use or have to try and offload it :upside_down_face:

That’s what I just had a look for in FA but no dice for me :disappointed_relieved:

I’m glad you got something useful :+1:

Thanks for the advice @Sevencasper and once I’ve tried it I’ll let you know my opinion.
Have you ever SFT it and if so at what percentage?

In fact from your post Im assuming you vape zero nic so I’ll try a little experiment with another flavour mixed with Heat and post my thoughts and experiences.

Again thanks for the heads up and apologies for not remembering it was you.

Sometimes I am actually glad that VE won’t post to me or I would be constantly being tempted to use them…
