I have the 44060 and it says 100% Rayon Fibers on the box. I bought the 500 ft box and I think there’s enough for 20 people for 10 years worth of wicking.
I think I just answered my own question…the only difference is the amount. 44043 is a 3lb box…44060 is only 500ft. They both say regular coil. I found this from the link to Graham Beauty. Hmm, I keep having to relearn RTFM (or RTFL in this context).

I received my vape band and rayon. I dont wanna sound like a broken record but the company I work for went under. I’m broke broke till my unemployment rolls in. So the rayon is a huge help. Im sure it will last me a year and it Vape’s great. The vape band is awesome. I consider myself a positive person but it’s been a shitty month . No B.S. You definitely cheered me up . Thanks man

I work with a lot of homeless Veterans, for hours, and sometimes all night and day, and I always
have words of encouragement. I wish I had a magic wand to loan you, or I had won the lottery and
could assist you financially, or something that was useful to help you right now. I got nothing, Brother,
and I can feel the pressure behind my eyeballs.
I have a small pension and over 50 mouths to feed, daily [some family on ELR can vouch that it’s true]
and some days I feel I am really helping in some degree, but right now I feel helpless.
I can promise you that I have plenty of prayers for you that will not wear off as the hours pass by. My
sincere apologies that I am not in a better position to help any further at the moment.
Wow @Whiterose0818, you never cease to amaze me with your generosity and helpfulness to our community. Thank you so much for all you do! I have heard such good things about the rayon, and keep asking my hubby to give it a try. So far no luck, he has read too many articles claiming it’s toxic when combusted. I keep telling him that’s when combusted rather than heated, but so far no luck. I will keep trying though. Thank you all for the wicking hints and tricks with it as well!
I can’t think of anything that’s not toxic when burning…including Cotten. Changing is not something that comes easily for me either. Thinking of trying some, especially when you see free in front of it.
I agree. But my hubby is another story. I only use a dripper when testing flavors. Maybe I will buy a small amount and try in my tester, then if I like I can pass it to him to “taste” and give me his opinion. I do that with certain flavors anyway. See if he says something? Not sure I’ll actually do it…I don’t like dishonesty at all. Maybe not, haven’t ever lied to him, don’t want to start now. I’ll have to try it then give him my feedback on it and maybe that will convince him to try?

My Titanium wire can be rough on cotton. I was playing a PC game last night and vaped my Griffin 22 dry (hey it was dark). I didn’t notice until I got that burnt taste …too late. I had to re-wick. @Whiterose0818 you still have a 1/2 metric ton of that stuff (rayon)?
Isn’t rayon more resistant to the combustion factor than cotton, anyone? I have heard it is much more forgiving on dry hits… I have used some of the rayon that was sent to me, but i have been pretty careful not to roast my wicks generally so i havent actually noticed whether it is or not. I have some cotton and rayon so i just usually wick with whichever i grab first lol
I’ve dry hit a tank wicked with rayon (all in the name of science, of course) and I can tell you that you’ll get a burnt taste, but not as bad as cotton. When I took it apart, the rayon was dry, but just as clean as when I first wicked it.
