Ya think? No wonder you like it so much. It’s a mod operative presenting as a pod
A lot of the newer ones being made are just pods for the sake of being pods. Give me a mod with a regular 510 connection every time please. The Drag X and those style, Lostvape Ursa, Vaporesso Drag whatever pod. You can buy an adapter to use regular tanks but why should we have to? They want to lock you into buying their coils and only be able to use certain plastic tanks. No thank you.
Yeah, I suppose you’re right. Not a stealth device by any means, but I was very surprised at how much I love this thing.
I keep getting emails from a store I never heard of. It just started happening a week or two ago. It’s called Batteries & Chargers. I’ve never shopped there before which makes me think they’re affiliated with another site I did shop at… The last email had flashlights which got me thinking, maybe I should get a few nice ones. I live way out in the boonies and power outages happen a lot in the warmer months.
That’s sounds like a good case
Smok developed a bad rep over the years for various reasons, I think mainly because they’ve recycled their same boards a lot, changed the look and called it the new best thing. But they actually have come up with some very good stuff. I stopped dissing them.
I absolutely recommend it! It’s one of those things people give little thought to until they need one. I think it should be in everyone’s house like a fire extinguisher and a box of candles, lol. Have you ever dropped a tiny screw or something into a dark area or rug. A flashlight will reflect light off it and help you find it…all sorts of uses. I use it as a cat toy
Is this the place?
All the freakin’ time! There are probably dozens of the buggers in the carpet under my vape desk. You can hear them clunking about when I vacuum. I tried those telescoping pen things but it’s just too small. I need a mini magnetic sweeper.
You can probably use a couple of these pop-up LED mini lantern’s.

On the last hurricane threat I decided to find a newer lantern. The one I had was a pathetic old Coleman single bulb battery lantern. A cell phone screen on dimm puts out more light.
Anyway, all the stores were already stripped clean of anything that produced light. I mean anything! I was at my last store, Ace H/W they had the empty box/display for mini pop-up LED lanterns and I found myself wishing I had a couple of them. I think they have a practical form factor for use during a power outage.
Fast-forward to yesterday. I was @ Harbor freight buying a multi-purpose folding ladder and waiting in line at the register, standing on the social distancing sticker. I saw a whole end cap with these $5 pop-up LED lanterns. Of course I grabbed a couple of them. EDIT [ Now I’m ready for the next hurricane power outage. I guess I should see what batteries they use, replace the shit ones they come with, and ensure I have spares. ] END EDIT . Now I’m ready for the next hurricane power outage.
Oh! Rewind to Ace H/W store. As I was was sadly walking towards the door, empty handed and exhausted from driving one store to the next, many times over. An employee walks to a utility table and plops down a big box. He starts quickly emptying the contents on the table. Low and behold, the last remaining lantern in Galveston/Harris county! Only one stray he found digging for stuff. I asked him if it was for sale (I actually thought he was holding it back for his own purchase), snatched it and headed backwards to the checkout. I could feel the tension as all the customers at the checkout line had their eyes fixated on the last lantern in town:frowning_with_open_mouth: . I can only imagine what they were all thinking about …

Five bucks!? Oh hell yeah… I ordered my mini tools for coil making there plus a cordless drill. Time to make another cart.
Whatever you do don’t ever buy saw blades from them😂
People like to dog pile on Smok. Their products are okay but you need a brain for it to last or work correctly. I have lots of their mods and they all work like they should. Some of them have been used heavily for years.
People say their coils are terrible. I use them all the time without any problems. If their “QC is so terrible” I’d have seen it by now. How come all of my coils work fine? Why haven’t any of my Smok mods mysteriously died? The ones I use for work or outside take some punishment. I like them because they can be had for cheap and none have failed me.
The people who talk the most shit are people who don’t even use the stuff. How can you be an expert when you have no first hand experience with the products? It’s all assumptions and BS.
Do they make the best stuff? No way. I post all the time in the defence of Smok. It’s like shoveling shit against the tide though. The parrots just keep on coming.
ALL regulated mods are not designed to last.
Anyone know if Chef’s has an active code (FB or otherwise)?
THEKITCHEN functioned still at chef’s for a 10% off a few days ago.
I bought a bunch of those on Amazon about two years ago but they were from Etekcity. I think it was 6 for $20.00 (Slickdeals has awesome coupon codes). I’ve had two of them with batteries in them for about 8 months and I checked them after seeing this post and they’re still as bright as when I first put batteries in. Great to have in each room in case of an outage and good to have area lighting for camping and such.
Much appreciated @SteveTC!!
Looks like the code still works, but unfortunately, with my order being so small (they are out of several that would’ve helped “weight things down”), the shipping pretty much killed it.
20£ order and 11£ for non-tracked shipping.
Should have ordered a year or more ago, but finances are finances. lol
Some other time…
Group buy perhaps?
I had similar thoughts about a group buy.
Kennedy Flashlights are going to be very popular!
