Aw shucks, I missed the sale. Just fyi, TEMCo is a great place to buy wire. Of course, it’s not Clapton wire or anything but they offer flat and round for prices much lower than anyone else. Always have and always will.
Can I ask if you’ve ever experienced any PG or VG that ever smelt off when you’ve bought from them?
I’ve never tried them as I read a few people had some VG arrive with a ‘fishy’ aroma which has put me off. I’ve also read that Basedrop is actually Vapoureyes.
I’ve never bought it from their site but have ordered Temco wire from Amazon and eBay I think. I have a (what seems like) never ending roll of 30ga N80. I got a 500 foot roll for $11 which is a great price.
I think in due course I’ll give them a go then. I’ve just bought 500ml of VG with probably about 500ml already in the fridge but when I next need some I think I’ll try them out.
I tend to vape 50/50 and my son is 65VG/35PG so we don’t seem to hammer the VG like others but it can surprise me and I suddenly realise I need some more.
Yes, that’s great. Is that price current? I noticed that TEMco offers free shipping on wire also. At least the wire and footage I was looking at which was 250ft. They also sell by the pound but I would doubt that would be free shipping, Idk.
I see 250 feet for $8 but don’t see the 500 foot rolls anymore.
I think that if you order thee or more rolls on eBay, they start knocking off a percentage. I got about 8 rolls or something and the prices all dropped like 15% (or whatever it was) automatically in my cart. Not sure if that’s still a thing but thought it was cool.
I think I read somewhere that a lot of wire re-sellers buy giant rolls from Temco and makes smaller spools from it. I’m not sure if it’s the stuff that’s “Smelted in Sweden” but that’s apparently considered A+ wire. I dunno… I think I read that somewhere too .
If it is we can consider ourselves lucky. Sandvik sourced kanthal is the best money can buy. I bought some flatwire off of an ebay seller from the EU. It was pretty expensive and I covet it. The performance is outstanding. But now googling it I see Sandvik wire sold on amazon. You have to watch out for scams and buy direct from a Sandvik supplier. For the best SS I’ve bought sutures off of a medical website. Again, the quality was outstanding, the price okay but shipping a bitch. That was years ago and maybe I should see if that company sells on Amazon too now. It comes on wooden spools.
