Looks like a V1 to me:
The V2 has the lock under the intake and only the V1 and V2 are stamped “Designed by BJ”.

Looks like the V1. On the deck itself. The V1 still had the type where you had to bring the wick sort of around the front of the coils and lay it on the deck. Next version had it where the wicks layed straight out to the sides like most decks. 
That was the first improvement they did. I always hated that wrap it around in front stuff. So if that’s the type of deck then that would be the V1. V2 had the better deck IMO.

Must have been typing at the same time but great call! I didn’t start really working with SC till the V2 and my memory is Shat V3 has Bj’s mark on it too looks like. AND OMG the pins! remember those horrid little pins lol I absolutely hated those silly things I think those were on the Supreme earlier versions

velocity deck with a deep well and 4 holes in the bottom. from the looks of it i don’t think i need to put any wick in front of the coils.

The recent designs have “BJ SHI” on them instead. I don’t know if it applies to all new ones, though my Ragnar is a “BJ SHI”.

Wow, see I never noticed that about Bj’s name before. Shows how much I pay attention to that stuff. but yep, he didn’t put “Shi” on the older tanks. But this setup here is my favorite out of all the mods and tanks I have. This one is my “baby”

You’ll see…Maggie had sent this RDSA to me after they had finished with it. I wasn’t on that team and first thing I told her was oh god, those air ports are WAY too short, this thing is gonna leak like no tomorrow. But there are those that love the thing. Maybe it’s just me and my heavy handed squonking or dripping but I constantly have leaking out the air flow holes in the bottom. But at least with the metal cap you can close that off, so there is that. hang on getting pic’s

The metal cap is 2 pieces and it does provide good flavor. I guess I don’t care for the domed top. Looks are subjective ey?
