I just read this thread and am fortunate enough to not have had any battery issues. There have always been some issues with Lithium Ion batteries, whether they are in laptops, phones, vape gear or other devices. The folks who guided me into vaping were really focused on safety, so I watch for heat, don’t carry in my pocket, check the raps and buy name brand (normally Samsung) from places with good reputations. Those 18650 batteries store a LOT of energy and need to be respected. I hope my luck and care continue.
