Help. First Diy juice all harsh

Next to the Nicotine quality, I think it’s what really separates “good” mixes from “fucking great!” mixes… IMO.

How is this used. I been reading on reddit but I cant find any info on how to use it. Sounds very interesting.

Careful, some flavors already use it…

According to TFA, they’re currently using Triethyl citrate in:

Chai Tea
Dragonfruit
Dulce de Leche
Hazelnut
Pomegranate
Strawberry

In all of these (but strawberry), the overall amount of triethyl citrate is between 1 and 10%.
In strawberry, it’s > 10%.

Not alot of info on it that I saw either. On this thread…

http://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/2z155s/deeper_diy_triethyl_citrate_the_new_eliquid/

one guy said he was going to experiment with it around 5%, This thread it can also be used as a dilutant…

I like the mechanical stir type method since I hate adding oddball things to my blends. Sounds like it’s already in some flavoring now, why add more. I guess if I wanted to experiment with it I would take to heart how TFA used it and do this…try between 1-5% per volume of flavoring in your blend excluding any flavors that already contain Triethyl Citrate. Sounds logical to me…It’s the Spock in me…lol

Yeah, that’s interesting that it’s added in those flavors. It’s probably used to aid in the binding of multiple artificial components? Maybe to facilitate the bonding of inorganic and organic flavor compounds? I’ll have to check out that article in a min. Thanks for the link!

Hmm, I seem to have the same harshness problem with my PG nic from the old Nicotine River. Guess I’ll have to replace my current nic with a newer batch. Thanks for sharing the name of that vendor.
