I was sitting out at the farm the other day and a mother of a horse riding student came to pick up her kid. She looked at me vaping and said “That stuff will kill you you know!”. She wasn’t happy when I replied “Not as fast as your mouth will get you killed”…

Where do these people get off? Just get off your high horse and keep your opinion to yourself FFS!

Mini rant over… :sunglasses:

Students mother: That stuff will kill you you know!

Me: Milk is good for your teeth. You know what else is good for your teeth?

Students mother: I don’t know. What?

Me: Minding your own fucking business!

Classic result of all the media slagging that’s going on. Only believes what they want her to believe and of course millions of others will be in her boat.
I wonder if she walks up to strangers smoking and says the same thing.

I have had very similar experiences on many occasions and understand your annoyance. I used to try and explain my personal thoughts and experiences but have given up as the popular beliefs that are constantly being shoved down Australians throats are simply brainwashing people. I’ve had enough of being spoken down to and looked at like I’m doing something illegal or wrong.
At the end of the day I’m a grown adult who smoked for over thirty years who is :100: % convinced that vaping has saved my life and it’s my decision.

Agreed mate. Interestingly she is a loud mouth, opinionated, feral bogan and every second word is profanity. She comments on the horses all the time pretending she can tell they have problems when they absolutely don’t. Just seems to be the way people are now where they just can’t zip it.

Make life ez on yourself. Be the duck and let it roll off. People are going to be like that. Not most.

A few years ago, when I was working, I was standing outside in the smoking area, taking a vape break. The safety director for our airline walked by, on the way to his car and said, ‘You know those things can explode?’

Which begged a return question from me. ‘Then why are you standing so close to me?’

And what I hate about that statement is the fact that anything with a battery can explode given the right (or wrong, dependent on which way you look at it) situations.
I’ve always used to reply with the phone in your pocket can also explode and then I mention battery safety and the importance of understanding it, especially when using a device with external batteries and most especially using a mechanical mod. By which time they’ve either walked off or are just standing there with a blank look on their face.
I’m not trying to underplay battery safety but people simply regurgitate what they heard or read from media outlets.
With the proliferation of e- scooters nowadays there seems to be a lot more house fires due to them overheating whilst being charged. Once I actually had a bloke come up to me on an e-scooter and tell me that. I mentioned the thing that he had his feet on and he wasn’t impressed.

Yeah, I thought about saying ‘I hope our airline safety program isn’t also based on Facebook info’.

But he was still management, we were still on company property, and I was still on the clock. Most importantly, my retirement was right around the corner, and I didn’t think this dipshit was worth being the hill to die on. lol

Latic acid? Did you mean lactic acid?

You are correct. Had to go back to the the site to verify. The correct acid is lactic. Made the correct spelling in the post above. Thanks for the correct spelling.

Gee, I have the Voopoo Drag X that uses the PnP coils but it’s an external battery. Have you checked out the Voopoo website for information?

They have lists of everything with their compatibles.

Hopefully Tim will answer soon. That was a generous offer. It’s not the one I have but it gets pretty good reviews and I wouldn’t hesitate on the offer if the shipping works out. Congratulations!

I’m pretty happy with the Drag X. I prefer external batts, so it works out for me.

That’s real nice of ya bud but I’m good always can depend on this forum for top notch people thanks. How do you find their reliability. As I’ve learnt in the past if you don’t keep it simple for new vapers they give up
