Lol, Rob. It ain’t that way. What I’m learning won’t make a dent in what I earn.

@Ronni has been churning out some butter in efforts to diversify his business at http://www.flavorfy.com and his predictions for a soft launch will be the end of first quarter 2022. Here he is, churning, churning butter.

I could do 8’ shees no problem in my youth but 12 were damn near impossible, helps if you have a drywall gun though and use your head if you have staging to get you up that high. Throwing it on with reaching max length is pretty tough too… Worked Renos and after 12-16 months after we build a house, we’d go back and do the basements to allow shit to settle and I was sometimes sent in to frame and board the basements, the ceiling sucks if you don’t have the shit for it though. The positive note it only gets easier.

Bought one of these to fire code the garage. Made 12 foot sheet’s a breeze.

Yeah, my boss and the senior guys used those for bigger jobs… Most of the basements I did had the bedrooms with boards and the kitchen/living area was done in drop-down which I could do but never did. Back then I mostly just like doing nothing but framing and concrete, but if they needed me to do basements they would pull me off from that to get a basement done in a day or two.

Don’t let me tape or mud though, I’d fuck that up real good.

I hope you have good help. There nothing quite like fighting gravity and gypsum dust. May your work turn out good.

I didn’t detect any emotion from your request to keep our posts out of the politics and religion. A Moderator’s gotta moderate.

What Ogre is saying way up nearly at the top, is to focus on the things in YOUR life that are good.
Make an effort to be grateful.
Get outside, or at least LOOK out there, see the blue sky, notice how the sun comes up every day without fail.
Turn off the noisy news.
Turn off the god-forsaken “news”.
One thing we could all use less of, is constant rolling script mixed with obnoxious fast talkers constantly reminding us how terrible the world is.
Turn off the tv and listen to music, knit, mix flavors, paint, learn a new hobby, call your mother and tell her you love her.
Walk past your tv and pat it on the top, so it doesn’t get lonely. But leave it off.
