The TPA VC II works for me but I’d like to try a couple of other ideas like Vanilla Pudding (FLV) and of course what you tried, the VC (SC) (WF). We have something here called pudding cake which is simply a cake baked with pudding inside of it. I wouldn’t mind getting something like that out of it.
I stay away from everything vanilla tpa. I get offnotes that are not good from them. As with all tpa vanilla everything. Vanilla swirl wasnt nowhere as bad as others. But the bonus to the two i mentioned will be easier on your coils with cap custard, it wont gunk it up as quick. I just figured id mention those two as they will get you closer to what you are looking for.
Appreciate it.
If you mix INW Biscuit with FA Vanilla cookie it makes for a pretty good golden Oreo cookie base. And for a good Oreo cream I usually go with INW Vanilla Cream it isn’t buttery and has a fullness similar to a frosting. Add to that a nice standout lemon flavor. If you want a smooth coconut try FLV sweet coconut and for a grated/shredded coconut VT Desiccated Coconut.
I’d go 1-1.5 with Biscuit, 2-3 with vanilla cookie. If I used Vanilla Cream I’d go 1.5 with FW Lemon Meringue Pie @ 2% for the lemon cream plus LMP’s crust note would help the cookie. And I’d probably use Desiccated Coconut starting @.50 for a touch of shredded coconut.
Thank you. I’ll have to add these to my shopping list then,
Well dang wish I’d have known I just gave away a 10ml of INW Biscuit, INW Vanilla Cream a few days ago. Not much left of my once huge (1000+) collection.
Very kind of you, but I think I may be a bit far from you.
Yep I couldn’t even imagine the shipping cost to South Africa. Is it hard finding the flavors that you want there? I know it’s really hard to find my VTA flavors anymore even direct from Australia. I’d love to get more VT Key Lime for my VT Key Lime Pie recipe but all that’s available is 500 and 1000 ml. It took me 2 years to use a 30ml I couldn’t even imagine trying to use a 500ml bottle. LOL
We do get a wide range of flavour houses here and it’s fairly easy to come by in that sense. My biggest hindrance is finances. This is just a hobby and even though I have sold to friends, I cannot just buy ingredients willy nilly. I do try however, to look at one or two recipes and each month get the ingredients for those. My collection is growing, but it’s still small as I only started DIY In January this year.
I kicked smoking cigarettes after nearly 30 years and the way this year has been going for me, I’ve been very tempted to take up smoking again to cope. That’s why I’m looking for good recipes to mix from what I already have in order to make the most of the money I’ve already spent and stay off the smokes.
Don’t give up hope. You just have to find something that suits your tastes. Be it fruits, custards, savory, tobacco’s. I started because I wanted to mix my favorite e-liquid Humble Lemon Cake. I never succeeded in creating a remix of Humble Lemon Cake, but I found an e-liquid that has become my ADV. I went down the rabbit hole and bought a lot of flavors. And I mean a lot. At one time I had full collections of FW, WF, VTA. Over 1000+ flavors and an archive of 400+ good recipes. Currently I have cut back to about 100 flavors mostly VTA and have 2-3 recipes that I mix regularly.
I’m as determined as they come, but I do love to learn. That’s why I do research, ask, test and ask again.
My two favourite commercial juices are Candy King - Peach rings and 8Ball - Peach iced tea. Those are the two I’m focusing on right now.
The desserts are more for friends and to hopefully be able to sell and fund this little hobby of mine to a degree.
