(November 3, 2019):
The power consumption in India is going to grow so fast in the next 15 years and they are expected to compensate the growing demand burning coal. So it’s all just the beginning.
Well 1 thing is for fure, if they don’t do anything about it FAST, they’re killing off the demand faster than the remaining Indians can reproduce. No matter what your point of view is, it’s an unsustainable situation so I do not believe much more coal can even be burnt.
There was a documentary about this problem a few months back and from what I understand this is the way they’re going to go. It’s not so obvious because they will build the new coal power stations away from the cities.
Hello all,
Any fellow Indian here ?
Getting back on the horse need advice.

Welcome to ELR @Mastero I am not a fellow Indian but may I help in any other way? Are you able to obtain the products you need to DIY? We have many international members who may be able to help also. Are you located in India currently and how has the ban affected you and other vapers?
Hello muth,
I can arrange for everything except Nic. Yes i am in India (GOA) the ban is there just on paper.

I am going to private message you because I don’t totally trust the forums. There are trolls. But I am going to tag @Josephine_van_Rijn who lives in the Netherlands and has helped other vapers with this problem. Until she shows up look for a PM from me.
@SessionDrummer @fidalgo_vapes @Sevencasper …anyone who can jump in here and offer some help? @lanc13 @Ken_O_Where @Rocky02852
Not I unfortunately @muth as I have not obtained nic for around 6 months and can no longer get it here in Australia. I can only suggest that @Mastero does some research into US or Chinese suppliers that may ship to India.
Sorry no, I believe all is banned in India, although I would think the black market there is probably thriving…
4.3.The Black Market
Despite the prohibition, black-market retailers have proliferated in India, selling devices openly through online portals such as vapehere.in, vapehouse.in, houseofvape.in, indiavapestore.com, vapeparadiseindia.in. E-cigarettes are also readily available on retail storefronts.
@muth @Mastero
I’m in much the same boat as Ian.
Maybe see if a Synthetic Nicotine/Nicotine Alternative is still classed as nicotine in India?
Synthetic nicotine/ Nicotine alternatives are apparently not made from the tobacco plant & therefore not a tobacco product. That might be a loophole you can use to import?
Not knowing what the ban consists of its hard to say.
A couple of vaping companies in New Zealand sell synthetic nicotine but they don’t ship to India.

My husband has “blind tasted” the freebase Stym product from mixology & cannot tell the difference.
Other brands are likely available in any case, you would just need to find a local source.
Thx everyone. The Hiliq link I tried for some reason wasn’t working, so thank you.
Thx everyone for all the info, advice and help … found what i was looking for locally.
cheers
