Introducing the GC, Game Changer Homogenizer

I’ve done a few mixes since that conversation and the mixes are coming out more complete right after cooling. I think it’s a function of the cooling of the VG while adding to the PG carrier which is 50% of the mix and at room temp. Definitely better with the whole mix at 140°F.

@anon36682625 so my question to you would be, if my water is at 140F what can I expect my liquid to be at? Liquid meaning everything but the nic and I remember you saying to place the thermometer in the water, not liquid, and also that water provides an even temp all around.

If your water is at 140 and you place the bottle in, the temp will drop. Leave in the water until the thermometer reads 140 again. It doesn’t take long.

I heat while capped but you could put it in the mix.

Super, that’s what I figured based on what you told me prior. I placed the bottle in at the start and just heated to 140F. I also found an online calculator to figure out how long certain amounts of liquid take to heat up by wattage power. Very helpful. I was about to buy a 1000w single burner hot plate but realized it wasn’t needed, it had a larger footprint and I would need an extra container/pot to hold the water. This little device is self contained (except for the meat thermometer).

I had to come back to post my results…WOOT !!! I made a recipe as Dan suggested with flavors I was familiar with. I made and old and easy custard using CAP Fr. Vanilla, VC V1 and NY Cheesecake. Fr. Vanilla was always peppery for 3 days before settling in. After using the GC there was no pepper taste in the Fr. Vanilla and the overall custard was vape ready. Can’t believe this and it will probably only get better as @Dan_the_Man mentioned that he likes his custards a few days to a week after the GC compared to 6 weeks or longer in some cases. Did I quote you right @Dan_the_Man ?

Care to share? I like all those flavours so the combo would be good I reckon.

I finally had time to set up my GC and man it was super simple. I purchased the small size and @anon36682625 was gracious enough to make me a stand similar to his (he mentioned he’s working on offering these) . His items are top notch, there’s no way I can praise his items enough. I made 2 juices, poured all ingredients (minus nic) and heated it up to 58c using my new UC ( I was impatient and couldn’t wait the full recommended 60 ), used my new GC and it was stirred up super fast. Immediately stuck it back in my UC to degas ( didn’t need to wait as temp would’ve been fairly close so wasn’t worried about glass cracking or anything). I tried to upload a video of the liquid getting mixed but I don’t know how so pics is all I can do :see_no_evil:. All I can say is I’m in love. Thank you so very much @anon36682625 i greatly appreciate all your hard work to make our lives so much easier.

Looks great @Kamara ! I was going to try and rig my own stand with lab supplies but now you got me thinking 'cause Dan’s stands look perfect. No muss, no fuss. So happy that you’re happy.

Life is so much better. I had a mix that I wanted to add one more flavor to and Dan instructed me to just repeat the process but only homogenize for like a few seconds. Normally, it would be another long wait to see how it blends in.

Yes, after the first run everything is reduced and basically slammed together so it just takes a few seconds to add whatever you want. That may be the hidden gem to these things…recipe building on the fly in minutes. There is a curve though. I’ve over-flavored lots of mixes trying to get a balance from too strong a primary flavor.

Stands coming soon.

Definitely his stand is so sturdy and super nice, might as well get one cause you’re gonna love it.. Was so easy to put together also.

One of the mixes I made last night was mother’s milk unicorn, one of my favs. Instead of waiting 1-2 months to try/vape I already tried it today and have been vaping it all day. Wow just wow is all I can say. What an awesome difference.

Congrats on your new toy! Looks great! & is it ok for me to ask you if I could have a link for your ultrasonic cleaner (if you would recommend that one)? I’ve been obsessively researching them & am getting a bit overwhelmed/ flustered & needed one like, yesterday lol. Congrats on your new GC & stand, I can’t wait to get mine… now I gotta bug him AGAIN to see if he would be so kind as to make me a stand as well, lol I am a super duper klutz, as in I frequently drop anything I’m holding if I don’t consciously remind myself to keep holding it. Take my money!! :money_mouth_face:
