Joules to Watts and More

ECF Quote…

A Joule is a Watt Second (NOT Watts per second). A Joule is equal to one
watt of power delivered over 1 second of time. That’s the correct definition.

However, this means you divide your wattage by the total number of seconds it is applied.

10 Joules applied for 1 second is 10 Watts.
10 Joules applied for 10 seconds is only 1 Watt.

So if you set your mod for 40 Joules and took a 5 second draw you would be vaping at 8 watts…Unquote
