Welcome to the ELR June Mix‑Along! This month we’re diving into the cozy, fluffy, golden‑brown world of Pancakes (or Waffles) — two breakfast icons that make fantastic foundations for DIY mixing.
Whether you want to craft a reusable Pancake (or Waffle) Stone or go all‑in with a finished recipe, this assignment gives you the freedom to build your perfect batter, your ideal syrupy stack, or your wildest breakfast‑dessert crossover.
Your Mission: Build your foundation or build your feast.
Create either:
- A Pancake or Waffle Base / Stone
- A foundational mix that captures the batter, texture, and warmth — ready to drop into future recipes.
OR
- A Full Pancake or Waffle Recipe
- Any toppings, any syrups, any twists — as long as the pancake or waffle is the star.
Guidelines:

Choose Pancake or Waffle — or do both if you’re feeling adventurous.

Stones should focus on the base batter (no toppings), and be posted as a single recipe and not a One Shot.

Finished recipes can include fruits, syrups, nuts, creams, spices, bakeries, or anything that completes your vision.
