Yeppers…serve it up! They just built a new Waffle House dangerously close to my doctor’s office. My next appointment is early this Tuesday. After I leave, I believe I will stop there on my way home after my visit just to spite him!!! :smirk:

I might have to buy another bottle , but i use it so little that a 2oz is a bit much. I am trying to NOT buy everything this year. Too many flavors and the need to have them all has past.

Yeah, I know THAT feeling…

I can’t speak for you, but THAT one, might just be worth the 60ml buy anyways…

Just a good stack of pancakes.

Well I was kinda close …

Now granted 14% is OLD school, but still, I remember seeing that, thinking he’s crazy, vanilla butternut ??

YUP.

Good call @McDuckie

I did also then I tried it. The FW Vanilla Butternut @14 was a bit high but yes it reminded me of slightly undercooked pancakes. That’s why I often pair it with either FW white or yellow cake for a slightly more fully cooked pancake.

Somehow my quaint idea of a simple waffle has morphed into 2 recipes. :confounded: :face_holding_back_tears:
Ooooooh Lawdy somebody stop me.

Why do all the fun looking flavours have daap? :smiling_face_with_tear:

Well let me think about this…

I smoked marijuana daily, large amounts throughout the day so I could stay high, for 25 years.

I drank alcohol heavily, every day, because missing a day of drinking would make me go into dangerous withdrawals, for 25+ years.

I smoked around 12 cigarettes per day on average from 13 years old to 42 years old: 29 years, before I replaced it with vaping.

So DAAP has zero meaning to my health.

DAAP percentages are so low and vaped at low temperatures so it doesn’t concern me.

Here’s an example, FLV Tricks Cereal contains 7.8ppm of Diacetyl, at a 100% solution. This is a flavoring that we’d use no more than 3% of, further diluting the overall DAAP, which would then be vaped over a course of days, even weeks for some.

Cigarettes have up to 361ppm in a single cigarette.

So the nonexistent threat of “popcorn lung” is no concern for me.

That’s about how I feel.

Once I found out that the “Popcorn Lung” “study” was seriously flawed, I knew the REAL DEAL.
Not saying DAAP’s are safe, not at all, BUT, when you compare the amounts of D in cigarettes, and it DWARFS even the “worst” ejuice, the results are obvious, AND it shows how “omitted” data from the original “study” was done purposely.

Diacetyl is a chemical flavoring agent known to cause bronchiolitis obliterans (a severe, irreversible lung disease dubbed “popcorn lung”) when inhaled. [1, 2]

The comparison between traditional cigarettes and vaping is as follows:

  • Traditional Cigarettes: Combustible cigarettes contain significantly higher amounts of diacetyl. Studies have shown that a single conventional cigarette contains roughly 336 to 430 μg of diacetyl. This exposes a pack-a-day smoker to over 6,000 μg daily. [1, 2]
  • Vaping: Vape liquids use diacetyl to create creamy, buttery, or sweet flavors. While early e-cigarette studies found diacetyl in roughly 75% of flavored vapes tested, levels were drastically lower than in traditional smoke—averaging about 9 μg per cartridge. Furthermore, most reputable, regulated vape manufacturers in 2026 have actively removed diacetyl from their liquids. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

@Mixmaster_Mike @SessionDrummer Brilliant! :bulb: I’m saving both of you boys’ content for when I try to explain these things to a couple of smoking friends of mine Thx!

Yeah I get it’s a low risk, I also smoked and drank heavily for similar timeframes to you. All I know is my asthma is under control vaping these “safe” flavours, but cigarettes and disposable vapes both give me a terrible cough and make my asthma worse.
There’s a whole world of creamy flavour tempting me, but I’m just keeping my risks as low as possible.
Thanks heaps for the info @SessionDrummer and @Mixmaster_Mike

Sorry to derail, back to the :pancakes::pancakes::pancakes:
