So I tried a few of the My Man clones and the one that tasted the least bad still had notes of dirty feet. I believe it might have been the Cocoa (FA) assaulting my taste buds but have yet to verify this.
When I first started vaping, I had two flavors that were amazing and probably still are. However, due to the amount that I vape now, it is prohibitively expensive to buy them. So my search for a clone of one of these continues. One is Greenman’s Druid’s Breath, which is basically Neapolitan ice cream, and the other is Rasta Vapors’ Chocoberry, which is chocolate-covered strawberries.
My question is thus:
Does anyone have a clone of one of these and if not does anyone have experiences such as mine with chocolate flavors where you just can’t find one that doesn’t taste like balls?
I have tried double chocolate (tpa), milk chocolate (tpa), double fudge brownie (cap), chocolate (fa), and cocoa (fa). There might be more but those are at least the most recent ones.
The chocolate deutsch is very good, like German chocolate cake, but it’s very strong and will easily overpower everything. The best chocolate vape I’ve had is @LordVapor’s Twixted Nut Revisited. It uses Inawera milk chocolate and tastes just like a Twix.
I’ve tried several chocolates myself. Once I tried Dark Chocolate MF I knew my search was over. It’s a real chocolate extract. From it I made a Milk Chocolate (Flavor Base) and it’s also the best I’ve tasted.
I have tried that one
It’s probably really good until you put the chocolate in it, then it gets nasty. The recipe notes say to put in some milk chocolate if you want some chocolate flavor. So I did. And wish I hadn’t.
I think he mentions that there shouldn’t be any chocolate in there. He said that he gave this to people and told them that there is chocolate in there and they all said they can taste it. There wasn’t any.
I was readin the ingredients and then…read the label info… chocolate… but… theirs no cho-… checks the ingredients again… what the f- hahaha w00cash666 …exactly on point.
I know what your saying when you have had " that " chocolate…this recipe of mine is straight forward Neapolitan ice cream but it needs to steep about 10 days otherwise the chocolate and the Vanilla ice cream ( I think the FW’s version is crucial as it is sweet )will bring out peppery notes until it’s completed steeping.
@w00cash666 Point taken. I’m going to mix up a batch minus the chocolate tonight and see how goes. Edit: do you know if Super Sweet (CAP) can be subbed for the TPA sucralose sweetener with the same percentages?
@Amy2 thanks for the recipe. I only have half of those ingredients but if the recipe from ENYAWREKLAW doesn’t pan out, I will def buy them so I can try it.
No problem I hope it works out for you. If your using Caps super sweet it is about 2x stronger than surculose so use it sparingly. 2% would be really super duper sweet. Start out using around 0.5% then see if it needs more. Hope this helps.
Thank you, it is so spot on to me that I can taste it now and I haven’t made it in a few months very sweet and creamy the strawberry and chocolate just pop with that particular vanilla ice cream !
