Looking for opinions on the 8/8 regulations

The US has taken down foreign Web sites but it has to be on Intellectual Property (DMCA) or Pornography grounds …have to hope a recipe site can’t be lumped into that

We’re creating Snowcone recipes, what’s wrong with that?

Some of these ideas may work…at first, but let’s face it we are living in a controlled environment where the control just keeps getting tighter. As long as we keep reelecting the bastards holding the leash, we will not have any but token freedoms.
Any vape parties or classes will be crashed by law enforcement eventually as well as anyone making juice at home and distributing it as gifts. Once word gets out, the law will be watching and waiting. There is a lot of money to be lost by allowing vaping to survive. At the rate we are seeing with this and other “laws”, vaping has a short life span.

OK maybe stupid question. But should I stock up on anything this weekend with the empending doom of 8/8??

I use kanger coils for subtank currently and haven’t seen any on there last time I looked.

I just got an email from a local vape shop and here is what they are doing to skirt the FDA’s regs. I see that they are getting away with no more “free” tastings buy selling a membership and I like how they say “assistance” with coil building.

Print out your favorite recipes though…in case it gets blocked.

elr has a facebook page so everyone would still help each other…

And don’t kid yourself, They wont take this site down or block access…Tobacco companies will have to get recipes someplace and they are using all of us to find out what works and what doesn’t.

We are their mixing research.

They aren’t going to stop the sale of anything selling and generating tax revenue. End of story, my dear friend.

Alcohol kills people - but its legal.

Cigarettes kill people - but its legal.

Half the prescription drugs on the market can kill people with a small overdose.

They want to regulate and control the sale of cheep manufactured things that are addictive so they get all the money. It’s nothing but a cash mafia that keeps people working for low wages to buy their stuff and benefits only a handful of people in high places in corporations and administrative government offices.

Very sorry for the passionate response but I am up to my nose with these wealthy criminals this week.

Love Ya!

I have a feeling DIY mixing is not even on their radar. They, no doubt, have their own chemists/chefs who are quite capable of sticking 2 or 3 different flavored concentrates together and coming up with a recipe. They’ve been “cooking” with over 4000 nasty chemicals and additives in smoking tobacco for decades…they can mix a recipe for eliquids with their eyes closed. :smirk:

This is to say, I wouldn’t worry too much about big tobacco squishing or relying on the DIY community.

Marlboro has been mixing juices for well over 2 years that I know of. Whether they are good juices is another story But it was at least two years ago I seen their line. You won’t find it in Vape Shops. The ones who were selling it was the Convenience Store Suppliers. So, you’re quite correct assuming they have their own people blending. Whether these blenders are any good, who knows, I won’t try their crap…

The only other thing I can say really is to everyones point I believe…the stuff they will ultimately put in theirs is not something I ever want to sample.

Completely agree. After all the years and undeniable proof of what they’ve done with cigarettes, if they think I’d trust their liquids… FUCK NO.

See the thing is… OK I’ll admit something. I used to work in Marketing.

You only have one enemy in market share, it’s called competition. When the Tobacco companies saw the threat they did what every good marketing person has to do to get ahead of the pack and went after the most profitable enemy first. So what have they accomplished? Did they take down Aspire? No. Did they take down Kangertech? No. They took down mom and pops selling liquid. They made sure little guys couldn’t sell their stuff. Why? Because they cant afford lawyers. So now we move onto phase II.

Is ECX profitable? Yes. Is Wizard Labs Profitable Yes? Are they big enough to survive an attack by Altria? Maybe. Are they big enough to survive an attack by a German nicotine patch maker? Maybe.

How did big Tobacco get everyone hooked? Slowly. Tobacco rations given to soldiers…parents hooked on cigarettes passing it down through the generations.

These creeps aren’t in any hurry to take this market. They don’t have to be.

And if you think there aren’t a minimum of 20 Tobacco spies lurking around this site…?

I’m sorry you guys. This would be the first place I looked for ideas as a marketing executive. Why? Because here there’s no risk of stealing patents.

Again… love you all. Hate the companies that made me their crack head for most of my life.
