hey, sounds like you’re literally leaving out marijuana’s thc-free sister—HOPS!
if you’ve ever tasted an IPA or just about any of the newer trendier “hoppy” beers, then you may have noticed that your beer smelled just like weed. Cannabis and Hops are the only 2 plants species in their family.
There are different strains of hops, some of it being so close to marijuana buds in smell/taste that they’re indistinguishable (and yeah, I’m talking about it smells like the NEWER strains of buds lol)…musky, perfumey, skunky… taste is actually bitter which is why IPA’s taste and smell like perfume hahaha.

p.s. there are several other plants/fruits/flavors that produce the same & other very similar molecules called terpenes. I’ll post more later…and the reason i know all this is because i did a research project on hops in college!
