Michigan becomes first state to ban flavored e-cigarettes, cites dangers of vaping

Wow, another time I wished I would have booked marked it when I saw it. It was a video from a news channel that was posted by a facebook vaping group. The sad part, again, was the interviewer. The talking head asked the store owner about it with the prelude that all flavored e-liquids are banned. The owner corrected him regarding with nic and without nic e-juices. The talking head got in his car and babbled all e-juices once more. Brain dead. “must adhere to agenda”. I go to anger not sadness. Asinine. I have a scanner and two universities in the area, U of M and Eastern Michigan U. Our cops are not in doughnut shops. Drug O.D.'s, Alcohol problems, Older folks can’t breath, good ole smokes, keep the scanner just buzzing along with a shit ton of crime. Of course there’s always a heaping helping of automobile insanity. Now I’m paying these embarrassed cops to make an ass out of themselves as a priority. The Empress wants to show us she did something.

makes one think… something needs to change… but where is the action?
Atm too many are ignorant of our rights slowly slipping away…

One day people will wake up and it will be too late.

I don’t know. A lot of people want to hand their lives over the gooberment. My life experiences tell me that the last thing you do is give it to the gooberment to fix.

Absolutely right…

I love my Grandfather… our last real talk before he died was that he feared we would all slip into socialism, from medicine to politics, and he was right… look at the mess that is here now.

It’s probably pretty dated, but it resonates with me. Babbling numb nuts.

Michigan’s ban on flavored nicotine vaping intact - at least for another day

A Michigan Court of Claims judge on Wednesday delayed a decision on whether to temporarily halt the state’s flavored nicotine vaping ban. After two days of testimony, Judge Cynthia Stevens said she needs more time to consider an injunction requested by Mark Slis, the owner of 906 Vapor in Houghton. … If Stevens approves the request for a preliminary injunction, the state would not be able to enforce the ban while the court decides the merits of the lawsuit.

In the late 1980s and 1990s I had a RS Pro-43 (before all of the fancy frequency-hopping, multiplexed technologies to follow). Interesting (then largely in the clear) cell-phone stuff. Once happened to hear the on-board radio-telephone system of Air Farce One being used while landed (part in the clear, as well), as well as once happened to hear the state Speaker of the House (later Governor). What a gas !

On Friday The Michigan Supreme Court denied a request to reconsider a lower court’s ruling that halted Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s ban on flavored vaping products.

So until she figures out a way around it the Flavor Ban is officially over in Michigan.
