Understood. I’m just happy you’re back Have a pleasant evening, Dan. I’m looking at flavors I need for a mix before I wrap it up here.
It seems that nothing ever goes as planned. I had intended to list these and other items about 2 weeks ago so as to show the variety of equipment I have for sale. Nevertheless GC’s are for sale and ready to ship.
The 4 on the left are small. Both sizes are available in black or white. All are made to be driven by a Dremel rotary tool. (yours) For those that previously purchased for use with a Black & Decker RTX, I can modify these to work with it.
Last ones I sold were $250. I will hold the price at $200. plus shipping Until the end of January 24 which will then rise to $250.(or more)
As listed above I have 2 Kinematica Polytron PT 1200 c Homogenizers.
I have priced the one on the right at $450 due to its better cosmetics. Both work the same and the dispersing units have been serviced by me. (Teflon Bushings) These are very nice and original retail was in excess of $2500. See the above listing. These use Kinematicas ez clean system whjich allows you to just push the drive shaft up and out of the stator tube for quick cleaning.
I have the 2 motors and power supplies but have several of the dispersing units.
So what I have done is machine an adapter to use with these units. Like with the GC, these screw on to a Dremel or if necessary I can machine to fit the RTX.
Homogenizer plus adapter- $300. (The Kinematica motor and speed control are better)
I also have a Kinematica Polytron 1200 E. I made the dispersing unit.
This comes with a power supply. This is a current model and very nice. Amazon has this listed at $1614. https://www.amazon.com/KINEMATICA-11010025-Polytron-Handheld-Homogenizer/dp/B00BWXJ5QE
$450. Plus shipping.
Yes , Works very well. I have had no issues, I ran both the small and large and now only have the large… @100_VG bought the small one which i only got rid of because he reslly wanted one and they werent available…
Sent you a PM
I’ve had questions about the Kinematica Polytron units posted above. My bad, I didn’t offer up much info, particularly about the homogenizers with adapters I’ve made to use a Dremel with.
The 1200 C models introduced Kinematica’s ec system of devices. EC stands for easy clean. How this works is that you use a pointed tool to push the drive shaft and rotor up and out the tube. (with mine and nearly all others you have to unscrew the rotor and remove the shaft)
While I have two complete Pt 1200 C systems i.e power supply, motor, and homogenizers, I have several of the homogenizers. Like with the GC I have machined an adapter basically just like the GC’s.
So the homogenizer is inserted into the adapter, locked with the knob, and then used with the Dremel.
While the Polytron DC motors and power supplies are better than a Dremel, there is not much difference.
These are high end, high $ units when new. I have a 5 mm, 7 mm, and several 12 mm units. Bushings have been checked and replaced where needed and all are in very good condition. For small testers the 5mm and 7mm work very well.
1 of the 2 PT 1200 C units is on hold with sale pending. Same with the 1200E.
The Pro Scientific brand items above are now listed on eBay. The rest are still available.
