NEW 2025 Flavorah Flavors Reviewed by SessionDrummer -- Testing Now!

STEEPING NOW !!!

Well, well, well. Look what Flavorah went and did. Released some NEW Flavors for 2025 !!!

Huge thanks out, as always to @FLV_DIY (Bryson) over at Flavorah for shipping these out.

Place holding as they are now steeping for 1 week before testing. I didn’t want to get in the weeds trying to customize the strength for every flavor, as in some ways you guys would loose the “relative” strength between the flavors, so I finally decided on 1% for all of them.

Sammie was keeping an EYE on the scale for me.

As always (well, most times that is), I’ll be testing these on the beloved SteamCrave RDTA v.1 running dual 24 ga. Kanthal vertical coils, and Koh Gen Do cotton. Testing all at the listed weights in a 70v/30p/3mg base. All will be steeped for 1 week, and tested at 65 watts. New coils to start out the series, and dry burned coils with fresh cotton before every test. Stay Tuned !!!

Coolcumber (Flavorah) 0.25% (8-20-25) – FIRST one on deck from this newly released series from Flavorah. Thanks out to @Bryson from Flavorah in warning me that my initial 1.0% might be TOO high for this Ultra Concentrated, and I re-mixed/steeped down to 0.25%. I might JUST be the right skeptic to test this one, as I rarely cucumber, and I do NOT like cooling, and this one had BOTH.

Well, I can tell you Bryson was right, and even down at 0.25% it was VERY full, and tasted very good. Not weak, watery, or in any way diminished. The cucumber profile on this one was VERY good, hyper accurate, and almost approaching Medicine Flower territory. Clean, crisp, and very natural tasting, and with a mix of both the fleshy body, and the darker skin. No seeds, but frankly, that was about the only thing you didn’t get. What was interesting was it had a certain fullness to it, almost a richness which gave it some weight and was unexpected.

The cooling profile was actually done very well, and it was layered in expertly, so as to ACCENT the fresh cucumber, without overpowering it, or overshadowing it. It was hard to tell but I think I WAS getting a light mint from the cooling, but it was very light in the mix overall. Wow, color me impressed, as I did NOT think I would like this one. 3 testers later, hehe, I was wrong. Fresh, juicy, full bodied (flesh and skin), accurate were my big take-aways on the cuke, and just perfectly accented by the cooling, with a light mint touch. At times I wondered if there might be just a hint of a light vanilla cream in there giving it some body and a slight smoothness, but I couldn’t decide. At 0.25% it was great, and sweetness was about 3 ticks south of mid-level.

I went into this thinking I’d surely find some issues, complaints, or wishes, but I just kept coming up short. Flavorah really nailed both profiles with this one, and I couldn’t find anything to nit-pick. Coolcumber is exactly what you got with this one, and I teetered back and forth on the rating and finally gave in, and released the Kraken. 10/10.

Fresh Watermelon (Flavorah) 1%/1.75% (8-21-25) – My main two take-aways with this one were a fresh watermelon paired with some honeydew melon. Throughout my entire test those two main notes/profiles stuck. I started out at 1% and the flavor felt like it needed a boost, so I upped it first to 1.5%, then 1.75%. It didn’t start to bend at 1.75%, but I think the max for SFT might be 1.5%. Overall the flavor did have a very “fresh”'ness to it, and it was fairly juicy. I could detect both natural, and slightly candied/artificial notes, but it leaned heavily towards the natural. Throughout the test, I did pickup a fairly present almost honeydew profile that was below the watermelon, but stayed present throughout. For a rough ratio, I might leave it at 65% watermelon, and 35% honeydew. It’s possible that that was an attempt to bolster the white fleshy part of the WM, but it tasted more like honeydew to me.

At 1.5% it was about a 7/10 on the strength scale, so strong, but not the strongest. Sweetness was a bit below mid-level, and with the exception of the “honeydew” notes (my words), I didn’t detect any non-watermelon notes. I would have preferred a bit more of the red fleshy body notes, but that was the extent of my wish list. Fresh, somewhat juicy watermelon which straddled both natural, and artificial, with a honeydew “like” undertone. I struggled to nail down a solid score for this one, and how much, if at all the “honeydew” elements worked or distracted. I finally settled on a fairly high 7.9/10.

I’m actually glad that’s 1st on your list, love a good cuke, and I’ve always added coolant or mint / wintergreen to mine, this may be a one shot 4me…

While I’m not a fan of cooling, and really wasn’t a fan of cucumbers, I think it was @Pro_Vapes that finally showed how it worked. Ever since then I was MORE in the cucu camp. Not entirely, but MORE.

Smells like there are a few winners in here. The Coolcumber smells like a fresh cuke, the Fresh Watermelon is bang on and that Huckleberry, mMMm!.

The smell of Rainbow Sherbet is a bit light, think ill mix at 1 and 2%. Could be my nose after being out hiking all day.

Thanks for sending these, Bryson!

EDIT: @Rocky02852 fixed the all caps on Coolcumber, i saw your note, hehe.

Thanks to a friendly tip from Bryson @FLV_DIY who tipped me off that the Coolcumber was fairly strong, I dropped the testing weight for that one down to 0.25%.

Any word on when BCF will have these for sale?
Thanks @SessionDrummer

As long as it works to portray a sherbet base 1-2% would work fine. As most rainbow sherbets need to be used @5+% even as a base. Also interested in that Fresh Watermelon because the regular FLV Watermelon tends to be a bit candied.

@G-Daddy you’re very welcome. That’s outside my pay grade, but perhaps @wllmc could answer that for you.

Yeah they have the word “type” on alot of flavors on the website but we haven’t been included that. If there was Type and Non Type of the same flavor that would be a different story…

My guess is that the “type” flavors are natural & artificial and the others are natural flavors?

I lucked out and am getting these from Flavorah as well. Just have to not peek at what’s posted here until I do my own tests. It’s gonna be rough, as all you guys in the states got the flavors much sooner. I’m hoping mine will come some time in the next 2 weeks.

I’m crazy looking forward to trying the watermelon and cucumber, as well as some others, but those two definitely stuck out for me. I wonder if Cool Cucumber will be cucumber with coolant? I’m not the biggest fan of super cool flavors (like fw jungle juice as an example), but if FLV balanced it well, it could be a brilliant flavor.

Must. Not. Read. This. Thread.
