Menthol Mist (Flavorah) 1% (8-30-25) – The only thing I struggle with reviewing more than tobacco flavors, is COOLING flavors !!! I never use them, and they ARE a challenge for me to review, but press on, we will. If you want menthol, you’ll probably want this one, as it was menthol all day long. At first, before it “settled in” on my test setup, it was a jarring cool rush, but once that passed, it proved to be less jarring, and more, just strong menthol. For the uninitiated 1% was probably higher than needed for SFT, and I could have tested it at 0.5%, but even at 1%, it wasn’t insane. Often times I throw in a relative XX/10 for a strength scale comp., and this one would rate about a 10/10 on the cooling scale at 1%.

It had a very distinctive peppermint cough drop (lozenge) that was fairly front and center. Because I don’t use any cooling agents, I can’t speak to how hard (if desired) it would be to cover that in a mix. Cool, cool, and more cool, it just never quit. Sweetness was 3-4 ticks below mid-level, and off-notes will be up to YOU guys to decide on. The peppermint cough drop was pretty persistant, and whether or not that was a pro or con will be up to the user. All in, a VERY frosty, and cooling agent, with a fairly strong peppermint cough drop profile, slightly sweetened, and with a hint of bitterness on the finish. I’ll rate this on cooling rather than flavor, and for that, I’ll leave it very high at a 9.9/10. Moving back onto the flavor flavors.

Natural Mint (Flavorah) 1% (8-30-25) – Having just tested the FLV Menthol Mist, this one became a lot clearer. This flavor had the same Peppermint flavor along WITH some cooling. The ratios were flopped. The Menthol Mist tasted (comparatively) to be around 70% menthol, and 30% peppermint, whereas this one tasted like 70% peppermint, and 30% menthol, give or take. The peppermint was at least now better focused, and present, and the cooling at least, didn’t overshadow it. It was still PRETTY cool, so don’t let my number fumbling confuse that point, as there was still quite a bit of cooling here. That might or might not make a difference to you, depending on your needs. Not a pure Peppermint.

The same peppermint cough drop profile was here, but it was paired along side with some peppermint. At 1% it was almost a 9.5/10 on the strength scale, so you could probably ratchet this back somewhat. Sweetness was still a bit below mid-level, and trying to accurately deem what I call “off-notes” was tricky. II personally would have preferred just a mint, with no cooling, and the cough drop-ish profile pushed it off of a “pure” peppermint IMO. The peppermint that I did get was good, and realistic, but it was hard to separate it from the cooling, and cough drop. I finally decided to leave it squarely at a 8.0/10. A good peppermint, but a cough drop, and cooling came along for the ride.

Rainbow Sherbert (Flavorah) 1%/2% (08-31-25) – I started this one out at 1%, but it seemed underpowered, so I doubled it to 2% where it seemed to open up a bit more. Still not the strongest flavor, but at 2%, I was clearly getting a lime, orange, and maybe a cherry or raspberry as the main notes, and there was a very good, smooth vanilla cream carrier that the fruits rode on top of. I struggled to firmly nail down the third main fruit profile, but I still couldn’t decide whether it was a cherry or raspberry. Sweetness was on the higher side, and at a few ticks above mid-level sweet, but was in the ballpark for a sherbert.

Doubled to 2%, it felt like it MIGHT be able to be pushed even further, but at this rate, I would rate it at a 7/10 on the strength scale. I think the lime had a nice zesty kicker on the finish that may have had just a pinch of bitterness to it, but only just a bit. That would be about the only off-note I could detect after 3 tankfulls. Overall it was a very tasty, and pleasing, yes, I said "pleasing’ flavor, and it was fairly complex bouncing back and forth between the fruit overtones, and then the creamy vanilla cream undertone. While avoiding the whole “Sherbet vs. Sherbert” controversy, it was very in the ballpark.

Tasty, perky fruits (lime, orange, and either a cherry or raspberry) on top, riding on a delicious vanilla cream carrier, with just a hint of zest or sparkle on the finish was this one in a nutshell. With only a minor complaint about the very slight bitterness on the finish, leaving this one high at a 9.4/10.

That’s the review I been waiting for. I’m glad I bought the FLV Rainbow Sherbet along with a few other FLV flavors to attempt a full on in your face FLV Sherbet.

Subject to changes once I test each flavor.

Red Grapefruit (Flavorah) 1%/2% (9-1-25) – Like a few others, I started this one at 1%, but it didn’t really take off as a Red Grapefruit, so I doubled it to 2%, and the flavor opened up, and came alive. Surprising how much of a difference the percentages can make sometimes. At the lower weight, it was more of a bland, general citrus, but at 2%, it became a full on red grapefruit. Obviously grapefruits aren’t easy to get right, or there would be a lot more of them, and this one was one of the great ones.

The Red Grapefruit is the powerhouse of the grapefruit community. I liked the Flavorah really captured the “red” fleshy body of this one, and it was clearly not a pink, or white. No small feat. Most of the nuances of a RGF came through with this one, including some fo the pith. Fleshy body, some tart zesty-ness, and sweetness. The sweetness was a little higher on the scale, maybe 3 ticks above mid level, and that MAY have worked to counteract some of the tart and sour, which I love.

Strength wise, doubled at 2% it still wasn’t an IYF (In Your Face) flavor, maybe an 8/10 strength wise. Accurate, semi juicy, with a mix of somewhat tart/sour and sweetness. About the only thing missing would have been the skin and seeds LOL. Lots of uses for this one, and with no off-notes to complain about, about my only “want” would have been a little less sweet, to better let some of the “tart”-ed-ness to shine through. With that said, going to close out this series of NEW 2025 Flavorah flavors, and leaving this one still pretty high at a 9.1/10.

I appreciate you guys giving up some of YOUR free time in reading these reviews, and I hope they helped out.

Thanks also out to Bryson (@FLV_DIY) over at Flavorah for sending these out for review.

I’m seriously thinking of getting this one. I like cucumber and after experiencing a Honeydew w/cooling by Velvet Vapes a long time ago, I realized that I could enjoy the cooling aspect depending on the flavor. Thx for your 2 cents, it helps.

One of my favorites back in the day that got me into cucumber vapes was Kind Juice Radiance,
An attractively bright gelato beaming with essences of Honey Dew and Crenshaw melons, topped with a refreshing cucumber syrup.
I never was able to duplicate the “Crenshaw melons”…

I remember you mixing up something similar last year. I think you were trying to achieve that one, yes?

Probably, another Crenshaw Melon juice I loved was CiCi from Turncoat (originally from Massachusetts)…

I gave up and gave away all my Honeydew and Cantaloupe flavors, now with the Coolcumber I wish I had them back, lol…

Hey I just noticed that BCF doesn’t have FLV Biscotti…oh no!

Yeah somebody on fb was saying they don’t have SSA Crisp Waffle either :man_shrugging:

Dayum, I was going to buy a bigger bottle last time but it’s so concentrated I figured I had more time. Oh shoot

It’s like BC are using a new marketing technique. Stop carrying the flavors your customers actually want and make them go and buy from your competitors at a higher cost. :man_shrugging:

Same with Nomz, so many great flavors being discontinued. Try to get ultimate cake batter, nomz doesn’t offer this anymore and BC doesn’t carry any JF at all.

DIY Vapor has it, and for a decent price too.

@McDuckie what’s it like ordering from Canada these days? Are the tariffs affecting the total cost since the small parcel rule changed?

DIY Vapor Supply?

Well I haven’t gotten any surprise charges when ordering from DIYejuice. Though shipping costs continue to go up due to changes with royal mail. I usually only buy 3ml bottles from diyejuice for recipe ideas. And with the way things are going with suppliers like BC and Nomz not replenishing certain flavors we don’t have many options left to find the flavors we want.

Yes I had to grab a 10ml of FLV Biscotti from them (I forgot to get a 3ml @diyejuice) for a Tiramisu recipe I’ve been toying with.
