New database error discussion thread

Please do accept my apology for my error. I must have mistaken it for something like this in the picture below, though why FA had a Custard and a Custard Cream (different labels) back then is still a mystery to me which was also what threw me.

Very easy to do, and honestly @Lucas_James_Holden with all of the staggered or even region specific releases, I can’t even keep them straight.

I think this may have been a one-off hiccup. New recipe using my default values usually comes out to 11.77 - 11.8 grams. It comes out the same using the adapt function. Repeated as a new recipe and it came out as expected.

Different PG/VG ratios

Both are the same initial 35/65 default value

Weird. How do you do that?

Just a glitch in the matrix, I guess :man_shrugging:

Or you could have just slipped into a parallel universe  and stayed…

Looks like Inawera has changed their name to FLAVORIKA. I wont be changing the DB to reflect it but thought i would mention it in case folks see it and wonder.

Ya whats up with that?? Are they completely changing or is FLAVORIKA a part of Inawera

I dunno but i noticed it a week or so ago on BCF then did some digging. Id be annoyed if i had to change every flavor, lol.

Here’s the site. They start at 10ml then jump way up.

Yeah, hmmmph, I saw that, and was thinking, “Great, here we go again”.

It begs the question @Ken_O_Where, what do we do. Having any flashbacks to the Chefs SC > NomNomz SC yet ??

Do we IGNORE the new name, and just keep entering, and using the flavors under the INW tag, or do we start using the NEW tag ??

Hold on here. Inawera’s site is also open. It lists all their older flavors. It does look the bottle size is the same on both sites. 10ml, 100ml, lieter, Gallon. Seems both sites want to sell wholesale.

I cant remember so ill ask. Hangda = Hangsen?

I remember them both being sold on Fasttech, man i miss them, but i think i remember the forums saying they were the same company.

If you need to do any changes, then just add Flavorika to the name. Biscuit (Inawera) (Flavorika) and it won’t be confusing to people.

(If this is needed at all at this stage when 99.9% of people know only Inawera…
…and 5 years from now large majority of people will still be using Inawera name, not Flavorika).
More importantly, please don’t delete or merge any flavors that appear to be properly added (with no grammar mistakes), even if they have just 3 recipes, unless totally obvious.

If i am picky, just adding Flavorika name to every INW wouldn’t be proper entry either because every Flavorika may truly be Inawera, while not every Inawera would be Flavorika. More than 50% of all INW flavors are dead flavors, so they never had been Flavorika.
