I reckon people will do what they do, if lars is fine with the way it is then so am i. I make some minor corrections to established flavorings on occasion but only a couple a week, if that. So much to do here at home and so little time.
Id imagine that as soon as the new name goes on a bottle to ship out some folks will enter the new name. Im not sure its any big deal since there are still 450 billion nonsense names so a couple dupes like these are much of an issue.

I added flavor notes for RY4 Ever (One Shot) (Flavor Jungle) and I discovered that there are two pages of the exact flavor. One has my notes, the other doesnât. Can the two be merged?

Yeah thatâs generally the way to go, but the problem starts when someone first enters a flavor in the database incorrectly and everyone else just goes with it. No fault, itâs just part of the problem thatâs not repairable with an open database.

I was trying to fix it myself and I think I accidently deleted my notes. I added the correct spelling to my stash and deleted the one incorrectly spelled. After that my notes were gone. I didnât realize that you lose your notes when you delete the flavor from your stash. That doesnât seem right!

Yes, once you delete a flavor from your stash, you lose your notes and anyone that depends on Your notes will no longer see them.

Well you canât do it on the forum side but on the recipe side you can,
He (or she) does this so when a flavor is deleted from stash the valuable notes will still be there!

Okay maybe Iâm not understanding this right. Doing this would be a personal decision of the mixer, therefore each alias is different. Itâs not a shared community thing where we would âthrowâ our notes into The lost notes name because weâre about to delete a flavor. Is my brain crazy or what? Maybe I think too abstract
