Not sure where the confusion came in, I never had a Minikin. Sorry if I got all confuzzled. I was strictly talking about the eVic VTC Dual.

The Joyetech eVic basic isnāt bad at allā¦
Itās really small and it will put out 60w and more in bypass modeā¦ it has temp control adjustable preheat and even custom TCR Curves in case you want to use another alloy other then SS TI or NI
Its battery is small and not enough to last through a rigorous day of use but all in all with firmware updates itās not badā¦
