I need to get the Creme de menthe, I’ve heard it tastes just like an Andes mint… aside from butter mint I also have flavor revolution white chocolate peppermint, it’s interesting because the peppermint is basically a background note, it’s almost too subdued, but I’m still trying to figure it out, only done one sft with it and then a recipe to see how it played with others, need to do more sft now

Idk if it’s a clearance flavor or not, it’s a decent flavor but I need to do more testing on it, at 2% it’s more white chocolate texture than flavor that I can remember, I picked it up in the fall to play with a peppermint ice cream flavor for Christmas, I did my one sft back in early October and didn’t really take notes, I just tried it in an ice cream mix after that and haven’t messed with it since.
Flavor revolution is one of the weirdest companies I’ve worked with, I’ve tried 4 flavors from them and they are all quirky, like their vanilla blast is good if you use it low, like half a percent, but it’s kinda light in flavor but also doesn’t get buried by vcv1, if you go above 0.5% then the flavor goes from a nice vanilla to a really cheap frosting vanilla and the strength of flavor jumps up exponentially, a little higher than 1.5% and the vanilla almost disappears and it becomes plastic frosting…
Yeah I really can’t make a recommendation for or against the white chocolate peppermint, but if it’s on sale then it would be worth picking up just to try it out, and they are pretty cheap for as strong as they are, The only flavor I have from them that I go above 1% in a mix is their grape candy, and it’s a really good flavor, tastes like a cheap grape sucker at 2-2.5% so I never tried it lower lol

I did like the Creme de Menthe that’s why I asked about the Butter Mint. I’d love to be able to have chocolate taste better so I could push chocolate into that Creme

Wow, I leave for awhile and come back and NR has all these new flavors they didn’t have before. Off to search for tasting notes. If anyone has tried any other than the OG 10 or so flavors they had, please refer me to the goodies!

I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to place an order with NR for 4 days - the site doesn’t let me go to the checkout. It appears that only orders from US, GB, Australia & NZ are accepted. They say their developers are “looking into it”. They must be pretty poor developers…

Hey Kamanza, regarding the checkout process this is due to an app we had to manually create from scratch for California Tobacco Taxes. Unfortunately since it was created from the ground up there are some kinks that need to be worked out. The developers were notified yesterday and are looking into it, we hope to have the fix soon. @Nicotine_River I’d like to see about getting the code for the military discount, please? Do I still just PM you my proof of service? Does it have to be my DD-214? My driver’s license has my veteran status printed right on the front of it, would that be adequate, or does it have to be something more substantial?
