Just a bare bones 84 s10. She would have rather had a typhoon though! Still searching for a body kit, but $2k is too much for one that I recently saw an ad for

That is the plan/goal for this weekend…going through my photos and getting them printed. Fingers crossed for me being ultra productive.:rofl::rofl:

Got to see the lunar halo Friday night. It was so bright I didn’t even need to use my headlamp to see…but still used to spot potential wildlife.

@Chrispdx I’d never even heard of that before.

To be honest I am not sure if I had heard of it either and if I hadn’t witnessed it I wouldn’t believe the photo either. But yeah. It was there…the magic of the camera pulled out the second ring and color.

I wish I stayed longer but everything was freezing in front of my eyes (grass was becoming crunchy and the cooler had frost buildup). And ssshh…I got alittle scared of some of the wildlife (I was very remote).

Well, after living in the PNW for 40 some odd years I finally went and saw a king tide in person. I know there are a bazillion photos online but this photo is mine (Full Metal Jacket reference ).

Only took alittle over 1200 photos for the day (three different spot) but only captured two of these.

That’s the wonderful thing about digital cameras. Back in the days of film camera, 1200 photos would have cost you a small fortune, with the cost of the film and development.

Yeah that is partly true but costs have truly grown over the years. When I used to shoot film years ago a 1000 photos is the price of gas for the truck now.

But yeah…I was a bit wild on that day. Most of it was learning the timing with trying to understand what will be big and when to start shooting. I think if I did it again I would be closer to the 500’ish mark.

The two cone waves I caught are from when a medium one rolls up to the wall and somehow repels back without exploding to the center of the frame to collide with another one coming in.
