Yes @pro_vapes, as long as your not streaming UAO (Up And Out) you won’t tap that small upload channel. If you decide you do really want to start doing that (offsite) then you’ll probably want to call Verizon, as the FIOS is much faster and symmetrical.

Comcast /Xfinity has internet on lock in my area… $180 per month for gig speed internet.

I’m hoping google fiber come to this area because comcast has the best internet internet and they charge whatever they want… no competition. There is an online fiber company that a friend use, but I’m about 2 blocks away and they wont run it here…

Ahhh shit, I hate that. Same up here, depending on your area. Well, Comcast is known for cheaping out on the UP channel, but as mentioned, unless your remote streaming, won’t affect you at all. If you do start to remote stream, then you’ll have to drop the bit rate to compensate. In your house however, you’re going to be rocking.

Can’t wait to hear what you think of the Synology.
