This got a little out of control, I initially noticed the pairing of Blackcurrant and BB and had to try it. Freshly mixed will see if I went a little wacky this Friday. 
Made this cake last weekend, it’s actually banana cake with orange icing and the BB obviously on top, hence the added orange to my mix.
Getting closer to these custard cream biscuits, I was more just playing with different combinations with the new vanilla cookie and it landed close.
The nectarine reminded me of this one. I baked something recently which was BB and nectarine similar to your pic but more like a shortbread fruit slice.They paired very nicely, better than when I’ve baked with plain blueberry. Also baked it with BB and mango and that was even better eating.
Not sure they are pear exactly but both are very nice. Can’t decide which I prefer.
