Real Flavors Super Concentrates Tasting Notes (Part 1)

After just reaching the actual 30 day steep today on my original 4 Beta version testers, I am leaning towards 3 to 5 % as a single flavor mix if you are going to steep them more than 3 weeks before use. New testers made up today at higher %'s to check after a 4 to 6 week steep and go from there.

So far of all the ones I have made up there is not a single one that I don’t like to some degree. The butter finger and the deep fried oreo will be vaped daily once I find the perfect % to mix at but until then 3% and 4% on those and use between 1 and 3 weeks. My best guess is at 4% to 5% SF they will be fine at 4 weeks and beyond.

Many of us learned with the VG versions there was flavor fade but you could compensate for it with higher %'s in the mix.

Not much time this weekend but i was able to try a few more SF that have steeped for 2 weeks please remember these are only my opinions

** Real Flavors SC Coffee mixed at 2% made 3-22 tested 4-8 dual clapton .35ohm Lynx rda**

this flavor smells great , and i was hoping the vape would be similar to the smell , however it was not this reminded me of Flavorah crunch cereal the same dirty wet sock taste , keep in mind ive never tried a coffee vape so i may have been hoping for too much , and i may have been to low or high in my percentage ill give this two more weeks hoping it turns into something that can be vaped ill also make a SF test at 1 pct and 4 pct because something that smells this good cant actually taste this bad , can it ???

** Real Flavor SC Milk mixed at 3pct made 3-22 tested 4-8 dual clapton .35ohms lynx rba**

WOW WOW WOW i could vape this all day just how it is , this has a fresh whole milk taste with a bit of sweetness and a silky mouthfeel , it has a lemon smell to it but doesnt have any taste that would explain that , im amazed at how good this is and doesnt have the dryness TPA dairy milk has this flave will compliment any heavy cream this flave is a keeper and true to it name

** Real Flavors Silly Rabbit mixed at 2pct made 3-22 tested 4-8 dual clapton .35ohms lynx rba**

Very similar to the fruity circles flave the difference is there isnt any citrus lemon type note that fruity circles has and this comes across a bit sweeter im still getting a raspberry fruit type inhale like fruity circles and this flave is a little bit harsher on the throat this will need alot of help to create a cereal type vape as a stand alone fruit vape its good just not a silly rabbit

** Real Flavors SC Blueberry Muffin mixed at 2pct made 3-22 tested 4-8 dual clapton .35ohms lynx rda**

this has potential to become a good blueberry muffin but i think the percentage is too low the blueberry is faint and its lacking the muffin taste i was hoping for but some simple tweaking like adding AP or another bread type flave may help this get to where it should be also adding a little blueberry wont hurt keep in mind it could be that it hasnt steeped long enough and pct is low ill try this a 3.5pct and see where it goes i will also retest at 4 week mark

Milk and Fruit Pebbles are in the queue for my next testing group so that is good to hear. I was planning to just do all of the next 7 at 3% cuz I am lazy and most of the suggested percents were in the 2 or 2.5% range for recipes, and most of the stuff I test that low I end up wishing I had went to 3 or 3.5%. Also up in the next group is sugar cub, sweet potato, peanut butter, hazelnut and rice pudding. Hopefully I will be able to find time to mix them up one day this week.

from my experience with coffee flavorings less is always moarish. Also i feel coffee vapes need to steep for a long time. I made a coffee caramel icecream/frapp e liquid using MF coffee at only 0.25% that took 2+ months to cure. I thought it would never taste good but after long steep it is now amazing. Long story short i would try 0.25-0.5% and put it at back of steep cupboard for 2+ months…

im definetly going to play with that one , this is my opinion though if after a month with the right percentage it doesnt have a descent taste it just not the right flavor for me but thats just my opinion and your probably right ill give it a go how you said , plus a coffee vape is one of those once in awhile vapes so a longer steep shouldnt be absurd ty for the suggestions , do you think i should try it higher as well

The only coffee vape I have ever tried is osdiy lotta latte and I liked it well enough alone, and mixed with some other things (I have a recipe steeping actually 6% with 12% Lucky Shot), so I was planning to give the RF SC Caramel/Vanilla Cappuccino flavor’s a try the next time I order concentrates. I am hopefully not ordering any flavors for a while though given the amount of steeped juice and 60+ nearly full bottles of RF SC flavors I have on hand already.

Yep…that condensed milk is my favorite. I tried a bunch last night as well, but the only have about 5-6 days on them. The rice pudding at 3% didn’t offer much flavor at all. Of course that is on a short steep with some cream in it, so the flavor might still develop.

And it was on a short wicked RDA that I had already tried 6 different flavors on, so if it’s a delicate flavor that could have been an issue as well. I am going to try a full tank again tonight in my Starre Pure. I have been begging for his flavor for a year now…it’s gotta work :frowning:

I never give up on a cream flavor until fully steeped though. I have had some go from nothing to amazeballs. And from amazeballs to nothing as well.

And finally got to try the Bread Pudding 2 with a full steep…blech. That one was a waste of money and supplies. I still love V1, but V2 is NOT a bread pudding…nowhere close.

I do not have the RF SC coffee my advice was only based off other coffee flavorings. My instinct would be to use less as most of the SC taste good at two weeks(the coffee at 2% does not) so i dont think flavor fade will be not be the issue here rather %s.

I already tested the condensed milk, testing the regular milk tomorrow…

I don’t find it totally blech but def no where near as good as the v1. The v2 will get used in recipes and the v1 will be a one shot vape for me I think… same with most of the other v2 betas I got.

look up some real coffee latte/cappuccino recipe’s to see how you can use that flavor with other flavors you have like caramel, vanilla, cream, etc? I am planning to get that flavor eventually for recipes but I will probably try the 2 cappuccino one shots from RF before I get to that point most likely.

Sorry to hear about the Bread Pudding V2 I had/have it on my list to get, I was hoping it would be better than the VG version of Bread Pudding (I don’t have the SC V1).

i have an idea but first i need to figure out a good percentage for this flave and there arent any notes but your on the right track ill mix up a few SF test with the coffee 2nite or 2mrw at lower percents and revise my opinion , im going to be adding better notes once ive found the right percentage or the right one for me anyway then ill add notes to ELR data base

after looking up some coffee recipes i see your point not many go over one percent and are typically much lower

It has been a while since I vaped the VG version but the SC v1 is very close to the VG from what I recall.

I highly recommend you get the V1 version. Really! I haven’t gotten the SC one yet either as I still have a bit left of the VG.

Ingredient %
Banana (SC) (Real Flavors) 0.55
Biscuit (INAWERA) 0.75
Cheesecake (Graham Crust) (TPA) 4
Graham Cracker (SC) (Real Flavors) 0.25
Strawberry (SC) (Real Flavors) 0.65
Sugar Cookie (SC) (Real Flavors) 0.35
Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP) 0.5

Flavor total: 7.05%

Cant wait until this one got full steep! Maybe my best Banana (SC) mix. I cant notice now “newspaper” from Banana SC. The smell from the bottle is very RICH, creamy banana cake. Cant notice Strawberry SC at all. Lets wait.

Again wanted to mention that Sugar Cookie SC with Vanilla Custard v1 makes something interesting for pudding/cake/creamy mixes.

Tried it again in the tank. Just a generic sweetness with a starchy aspect, maybe a hint of milk, no creaminess. It needs butter, sugar, heavy cream, a dollop of vanilla and a bit of cinnamon, and rice. Almost like it wants to be rice, then realizes halfway there that it doesn’t know how to become rice…lol.

I am really really hoping this steeps into something wonderful.

So far my last 2 flavors I bought have been duds for me. But that is ok as they have so many that I love.

But, @Walt_RealFlavors fix that rice pudding! I’ve been waiting a year for it, and me so sad
