trolling begats trolling
the ideal is to ignore but i have become just as guilty
on certain forums where trolling is prevalent
to become equally nasty to those that troll first
never to those that are nice
but just give it back to those that troll me
what’s always interesting is how angry those trolls become
and consider you arrogant for having had the nerve to be rude to them
its fascinates me but
as someone older, I also view it as the first step
towards a breakdown in social behaviour over all
even now see it on TV
there seems to be unofficial awards given to those that are the nastiest to others,
it seems social ineptness has become fashionable, sadly…
i probably sound like everyone else over 40 before me
bemoaning the new ways of the world
but i really do miss the times when everyone was polite to one another
even when they did not wish to be,
the ability to be frank and brutal
has not been a step forward
