@INOIROC I remember that now. Did you try using a different browser? One of the places I window shop, I think it is mvpro or eighthvape, I could not get it to load using Chrome on my Android phone. It used to load but was so painfully slow to load a page it was unbearable. Finally I realized it may just be a web browser problem. I used Opera browser and the age question pop-up window came up right away. That is what was not working with chrome, I never got the pop-up so nothing past that either. I can browse the site like normal using Opera.
I said “very loose” MTL, not very restricted, if that’s what you were referring to. I’ve always thought I was right in between that and RDL, but I’m starting to think I’m more towards RDL based on how I felt about those last attys I bought.
That’s good to know. I’ll have a backup site in case I run into the same problem. It figures something is wrong with it. It’s too well-stocked with items most sites no longer have.
Is this just a problem with Chrome on phones, or on PCs, too? I’ve never had the patience to shop using a phone, plus it’s hell on my eyes. Call me a dinosaur, but I’m a diehard desktop user.
No idea, I only have a phone to use. I use PC’s every day at work but I don’t use use them for shopping.
same here 24" monitor.
I use both desktop and laptops. More versatile that way.
I was thinking of upgrading mine to 24" monitors. Currently I only run 22" ones but I would need a bigger desk as I use 3 of them.
i had a 22", it went belly up. this 24 was the best bang for buck i could find. its not as good quality, and the extra 2", but i got used to it.
the next time around i may look into a laptop because of portability.
I’m right in between you two, with a 23", but I rarely use it. I’ve got my TV hooked to my GPU up w/ a HDMI mirror-splitter so I can lounge back and surf to my heart’s content.
I take that back, @Ianc13, my monitor is nowhere even near yours! I’ve always wanted to have a setup like that but could never rationalize the expense. But as much as I like the looks of your setup, I’m enjoying the hell out of typing this on my desktop PC while in the comfort of my armchair. The only problem I have is that I’m a dedicated trackball user and it’s difficult to find a surface that’s a comfortable height for it.
Excellent @FL_Vaper and I do admire your armchair response. I am currently sitting on my couch (sofa) replying via laptop. We too have a desktop hooked up to the TV, we use it to watch streaming services and also some of the thousand odd movies we have downloaded over time.
The expense for my desktop PC was not actually that much as I sourced and built it over time. Finding the 3 matching monitors when I was ready was the hardest part as they all came from different sources. I use this mainly for design and video production/rendering so the original expense was also a business write off.
nice. are those headphones ? they almost look like robot boobs
GMTA - That’s why desktops are so great. I’ve got tons of storage space, but I keep wanting more. I’m really bad about downloading media. I’ve got so many series and movies that I will never have time to watch - at least not in this lifetime.
Yeah, I built my PC, too. It was years ago, though. I keep thinking it’s time for me to upgrade everything, but there’s honestly no need to since nothing is lagging. I just really want to have a faster machine. But want =/= need. (Plus I’ve been spending all my money on vape stuff lately, which everyone knows is more important, right?)
Sweet! I did some amateur graphic work eons ago, but I am so behind on the software. My GPU isn’t up to the task to do what you’re doing.
Outstanding …
Yes they are headphones mate, not robot boobs…
Yep, I have 5tb on the one hooked to the TV and 15tb on the main desktop. Can never have too much room I reckon.
Mine is still super fast too… the 64gb of ram and 5Ghz overclocked CPU help there. The TV one is not as highly specced, but does stream 4k video to the TV without any lag at all.
That was my reason for a rebuild. I use the full Adobe graphics and video suite fully installed on the PC (not cloud based) so needed the grunt. Also helps with 3D rendering as well.
That is fantastic, I know the challenges doing so and full respect for others building their own.
Are you some kind of expert on robot anatomy, or just their boobs?
"FL_Vaper,
Are you some kind of expert on robot anatomy, or just their boobs?
no, there is just something wrong with me
