RTAs failed me/I've failed my RTAs?

I’ve got 32TB of storage between my assorted HDDs, not counting the drive my OS is on. I’ve still got one more 4TB I’d like to replace for a larger drive. Yup, can never have too much room!

Yours is definitely a generation (or two) newer than mine. Mine zips along fine for what I do these days. I used to do a lot more with my computer, but I’ve become lazy and find myself spending more time enjoying other people’s work. Once I would’ve taken part in Reddit’s Photoshop Battles, but now I am content to look at the submissions.

Well, I have Photoshop, but it’s a really outdated version. I just use it for myself for minor photo editing. But, my father just had approx. 500 slides scanned and there’s several dozen that need some work. Most have dust and scratches that need to be removed, but there are others that need more work. These are slides from the 60s-70s, so not the best quality. I’ll do what I can with them.

Don’t bother with Vapeify.com. I tried checking out using both Chrome and Firefox on my PC. The site said they’re not accepting payment at this time. So, I wasn’t able to buy the Luxotic Surface.

@JiM210 (and anyone/everyone) I checked out EV, and they have the Luxotic MF and the Pico Squeeze 2. Which of these has the better track record/would you recommend?

I know I’ve been over this, it’s just that @INOIROC had had problems with the Luxotic MF, so I just wanted to see if anyone had anything to say about the Pico Squeeze 2, which I don’t recall anyone saying anything about.

Pico Squeeze II is one of the Squonker’s I have. I like it a lot but it’s heavy. it vapes good and Squonks good. The curved body is comfortable. it accepts a 21700 battery which is great. I also like the easy top access to the battery. The up/down adjustment buttons are too small and too close together and the menu navigation is a bit strange and hard to get into. I thought mine was broken till I finally manage the button combinations to get into the settings. I’ve read forum comments where others though thiers was broken and they were only able to do variable Watts but after my experience I think they just didn’t figure it out and gave up. I might have if I weren’t so persistent. It sounds really bad but I like it enough to overlook the tiny buttons and the hard to get started settings. But it’s heavy. I already have two big and heavy squonker’s for around the house and I wanted something portable. Well it is in the sense that it’s a compact package for a 21700 squonker and it’s fits well in my pocket but it is heavy. Built like a tank! It has a good size juice bottle, a big plus. I bought red because I was told it had the nicest paint and they were right. Very nice paint on the red one. I bought mine on sale for $12!!! I feel like I stole it. I got the kit with the single coil Eleaf Chorale RDA. I like the RDA. It’s direct lung for sure but it’s good flavor and cloud and dead easy to build on.

i love mine as well but lately the fire button has become intermittent. Maybe I’m just not hitting it dead on or something but it never had the problem before. Yeah the red is a great color on this. I call mine Ultraman.

it’s probably oxidation on the contact :slightly_frowning_face:

Not sure how to clean it? Normally I would use CRC electrical connector cleaner spray from the auto parts store but I don’t know if you would ever get rid of the smell.

No matter which of the two I got, I’d be using 18650’s. The weight isn’t that much of an issue, I just got two Squids after all, and they’re pretty weighty mods! LOL

Also, I only use VW, so I don’t need much in the name of bells and whistles for settings. I’m more concerned about which between the two will be dependable/not cause me problems.

Have you (or anyone) ever ordered from cvapor.com? I’ve never seen an ordering process like this. Normally you go through Address, Billing Address, Shipping Method, Payment, etc. but this place just kinda skipped a lot of that.

Mainly, it skipped PAYMENT! It processed my order and I didn’t pay. WTH? All I could find is mention of Western Union or Transfer for Payment. But Transfer from WHERE? At the bottom of the page, it has the standard credit card pics, but it never gave me the option.

I got an email much later where it provided me info to send $ via Western Union, something I’ve never done before. It’s giving me what looks like someone’s first and last name to send the $ to, then it has this in the email, “After completing the payment, please tell us your order number, MTCN number, first name, second name, country, exact amount that you transfer.” which doesn’t instill me w/ confidence.

There’s only one other place that has the Luxotic Surface, but it costs more. I’ve never heard of that place, either.

Advice, anyone?

E mail the name and ask how he/she wants payment. It’s a way for the company to get around the PayPal block.

The payment method is via Western Union. Even though credit card logos are displayed on the site, they weren’t offered as an option. Also, I wasn’t given a shipping option. When you look up shipping on the site, they say ePacket is a choice, but my order will be sent 4PX, which I’ve never heard of.

I understand getting around PayPal blocks for vape stuff. FastTech uses gift certificates. But being sent an email asking for money to be sent to what looks like someone’s personal email gives me pause. I’m just wondering if the site is legit.

Western Union won’t be involved.
I ordered from Sorcemore and they asked for Western Union. Ended up paying thru PayPal to a specific name.

4PX is a Chinese shipper/freight consolidate. Takes them about 2-3 days pick up the item. They Handel the shipment to Chinese customs at the airport then forward to DHL to get to USPS in the States. Could take two weeks could take a month total.

I guess I should have pasted more of the email I was sent.

Here is our Western Union Payment Information:

First Name: Zhenting

Last Name: Yu

City: Shenzhen

Province: Guangdong

Country: China

After completing the payment, please tell us your order number, MTCN number, first name, second name, country, exact amount that you transfer.

That doesn’t sound like PayPal will be used to me. You don’t sound concerned by all of this, so I guess I’m being overly paranoid. I’ve rarely strayed from the vendors I’ve used since I started vaping, so anything that seems different from them kinda raises alarm bells for me, whether they should or not.
