Silver lining anybody?

Silver lining? More time with family and a few other things which I won’t post here.

Silver lining? I can’t remember when I’ve ever had such a tough time writing a post. While I have so many things to be thankful for, those are quite normal and every day things. So to find a silver lining in my tiny universe in the midst of our current situation - well not so easy. Here’s what I’ve got.

Got to spend over 3 weeks with my twin granddaughters - the longest visit we’ve ever had with them.

My 79 year old mother lives alone, but somehow managed to install Zoom on her tablet so she can video chat with all 5 of her kids who are spread out among 4 states and over 1200 miles of separation.

Also, the number of robocalls I was receiving each week has dropped to almost zero. Fancy that!

Brother, you don’t know how lucky you are, I haven’t hugged my children in over a month
And your mother is awesome :star_struck:

Great isn’t it? No more door to door salesman either  :+1: :rainbow:

I rarely drink, but when I do, I like to get me some of this.
They only had one bottle left, lucky me. :four_leaf_clover:

The weather is still pretty nice, the sky is blue and the sun keeps on shining. :sun_with_face:

That I have never had, sounds amazing though, and I have taste preference for Whisky , think I’ll search for a bottle. As much as I drink it would last me a year anyway.

Very Nice @Josephine_van_Rijn I haven’t had some of that in quite a while, I am of Scottish and English blood lines. Love me a Rusty Nail !

If I can’t get Drambuie, I will settle for Benedictine, also very good.
I did that the last time I wanted a bottle of Drambuie and they were out.
I recon the honey and spices are good for combating the corona

Lots of time to clean due to coronavirus, and I found my old notebook from before I found elr…I used to write out my recipes on paper and do the math for my recipes myself instead of using a calculator… that first year of mixing was rough lol and most the mixes were terrible, this one wasn’t too far off the mark though

(Perhaps) this rather meticulously reflective fellow has taken the “silver lining” bit just a little too far ?

Meant this pic to go up, but oh well cat is out of the bag. I love cigars and whiskey/whisky.
