Steam Crave Aromamizer Lite DL/MTL RTA review by Mjag

I figured I might have missed that boat on the JK Mini, there probably working on a V2 version already. Thanks for the update.

I did check a couple of different reviews after mine was done on the Lite and yeah, others like it too. It is build dependent on how good the performance is, that 3.5mm build I tried failed. Looking back the only thing that they should have included was a 4.5mm cutting jig, slipped my mind as I have so many but others might not.

Great to see you in a great mood Muth!

Thx, me too. I have a cutting jig and all the things to replace the cons which were negligible. Order placed and waiting…

I love creamy vapes so much more than fruit flavours so this RTA sounds perfect for me in that respect. I prefer vaping at a lower wattage with restricted to semi restricted airflow and this also seems to tick that box but the most important thing to me is getting good flavour as I couldn’t care less about blowing large clouds of vapour,I’ve never been into this ā€œclouds broā€ attitude so this ticks yet another box. It’s a good looking RTA too and I love the knurling on it especially in the stainless steel version and the quality seems on point so really there is no reason why I shouldn’t get this one…well there is,she’s called my Mrs lol.

My buddy gets his co-workers to receive his packages. They even let him use their paypal accounts and he sends them back the money. His wife isn’t a witch or anything but sometimes he gets on a shinyitis roll and can’t stop. They have 2 daughters to put through school so wifey is not happy.

Me too along with all the other points you hit. I hope you can get it.

@mjag Woot! I have my AL. Mine didn’t include an extra AF ring and I didn’t see it listed as an extra on the SC site. You must have friends in high places
The bad news is that I sliced my index finger but good so I’m having a heck of a time doing all my vape related stuff. Of course, my timing is perfect, right?

Glad you got the AL but sorry about the finger, I hope it heals up for you quickly.

On the extra AFC ring I found out steam crave sent me the V1 but included the V2 AFC, that is why I got and extra. From what I understand that is the difference, the V1 has 3 small holes in the AFC for MTL and the V2 has 2 smaller holes for MTL. For restrictive deep lung the AFC remains the same. The V2 also has an arrow to line up the airflow that points up to the AFC ring. I heard that is you got the V1 Steamcrave will send you the V2 AFC ring for free but that is only necessary if you like the MTL vape and to be honest that is not where the AL excels.

Thank you, mjag. I think you meant V2 and not V3, right? In any case, mine has the arrow pointing up to the AFC ring. And the ring I received has 2 smaller holes, not 3. Sounds like I got the V2, correct? I was looking for a loose mtl/restrictive lung so it sounds about right from what I can discern in your description.

I think my finger is getting better and here’s my plan…

Good match! It’s not easy to match gunmetals.

You got the latest version from what I have learned, I had a typo, your right, V2, not V3.

Ooohhhhhh, I love the Cylon, gonna throw some batteries in mine and steal your style :sunglasses:

I’m jonesing because I haven’t had time to spend with my new AL. It’s been one thing after another…2 batches of bad tasting PG (waiting for a reorder 3rd time around), sister broke her right foot and left knee, work had me running back and forth switching out vehicles in between shifts (usually my vape time). Thx for listening to my rant but I gotta get this s#%t together, lol. I have flavors to test and a recipe to make…okay, end of rant.

I am betting this week will be better for you :+1: Let me know how the AL treats ya.

Great to hear from you. Here’s where I’m at…I went digging through my wire and came up with stuff I forgot about. I found some N80 Fused Clapton. Tri-core, 30g x 3 / Wrap 38g. 4 wraps on a 3mm ID reads about .39 ohms. What do you think? Should I give it a shot? Initially, I was going to try a SS 26G round wire, 3mm ID. Keep it simple…but you tempted me with your Clapton build.

If I remember correctly one of my favorite builds was a tri-core 28g with 38g wrap SS316L build so you should be good. I bet that N80 30g will have a quick ramp-up time, just make sure the bottom of the coil is high enough that the bottom row of airholes comes from under the coil. I don’t use N80 a lot so please let me know how it works out for you, might have to start trying it again.

Will do. I don’t think I have any tri-core 28g but I have a SS 26g dual-core/30g wrap and a N80 tri-core 26g/36g wrap. Why do I make my life so complicated?

@mjag Most of the time I use SS but I do dab in a little bit of N80. I’ll let you know. I’m thinking I can get this running by tomorrow. Thanks for all your helpful information. Think I’ll cut the legs at 5mm for this one.
