I emailed him my donation receipt but how do we know he is getting them? I have not seen any acknowledgments back from him.

Yes we’ve applied for just about anything we can. We’re waiting for approval. The least it will do is reduce co-pays to $30 a visit. Stay strong with me MysticRose! We can both fight this.

I would think Paypal would shoot you a confirmation which could act as the receipt.

I’m sure your social worker is all over it, but just in case. I found out we can get a 1 time $350 stipend from Cancer Care Lifeline if they haven’t done it already. I’m also eligble for a 1 time stipend of $100 through American Leukemia Society. I can’t remember if I got that one when I was first diagnosed in 2009 or not, it was a long time ago. Anyway, the social worker is going to put me in for them.

The Cancer Care Lifeline is available for all so you should qualify. I’m not sure if your specific cancer society offers anything, maybe ask your social worker if you haven’t already discussed it.

Anyway, hope you are doing well, my thoughts are with you

His GoFundMe seems to have stalled the last couple days… Don’t know him and never mixed any of his recipes but, I feel for him and his family. I donated and have asked the few vapers I know to do so as well. Being diagnosed with stage 4 is a worst fear…

@kindground so sorry to hear your news. I have an uncle who is going through this now as well. I will add you and your family to my prayers. I hope the good wishes you receive from here help to give you strength for your battle.

I’m not sure there’s a better platform out there. This place is so helpful in so many ways. I really really really hope that things work out. I know the financial is usually the worst bit of it. I personally believe it’s wrong for treatment to be based on payment. But you sound like you have a lot of support! Try to have a good day. Sending good vibes your way! @kindground
